Really enjoyed this one, some loan players I had completely forgotten about - with some that's a good thing! Only other contender for right back not mentioned (unless I missed it) would be Shay Logan but Shotton would still have been my pick as well

Also worth saying Chesterfield are an example of a side with a budget sticking with a manager For me they will be one of the sides going up automatically this season
mark_trfc2019@trfc2019Oct 3
Seen a bit of criticism for Clarke today but for me he doesn't even get questioned properly until Jan 2028- unless in a deep relegation battle The club has been in absolute decline and turnarounds are hard I think he is the man that can do it but needs time #trfc #swa

One of our hardest away this season and we put in our worst 45 mins so far Only positive is we should be more than 1 down

Gutted but oddly its a huge positive that I am gutted to have conceded to a promotion contender in the last minute after we dominated the game It may be disappointing this evening but it is night and day compared to last season!

44 years later I am still supporting the club so it must have worked! We have tried other ways, my brother has the middle name Prenton and i tried to follow the tradition by doing the same for my son- that hasnt worked as well though as neither seem to like football! 😅

Congratulations. Really like this. In a similar vein I went straight from the hospital to the ground to take in a home game. Signed my son up to Supporters Club when he was less than 12 hours old. And we're still going to games now!!

The dramatic head turn by @RoryStewartUK works better with the Batman transition sound fx.

Don't normally watch #efltrophy games because I hate the under 21s in it After watching the first 60 mins of our game this evening I wont be rushing back to it 😅 Quality has been so so poor compared to how we have played in the league this season #trfc #swa

Fully agree with this Gutting to concede late like we did but the performance was really pleasing overall Really like some of the build up play and the high press This was never going to be a quick turnaround and feel we are going in right direction
richard davies@bigdikky5Sep 1
Positive Performance for me. Needed to kill that 1st half and second was very even for me. We on balance deserved 3 points but still I see an identity and we have a lot of talent still to settle down. Go again Saturday and be ruthless when we have our spells #swa @ATTTMPod

What a great and honest interview from Luke Would be amazing for us if he stays injury free

I have been critical of our recruitment over the last few years Credit where it is due though, if someone had said at the end of last season that Lee O'Connor wasnt a guaranteed name in the starting 11 I wouldnt have believed it There are genuine reasons for positivity

This is potentially a bigger signing than Ince for me We have been crying out for a better midfield for a long time now This has been a very different window than normal and I am all for it

Fully agree with this, as much as anything its about creating space for our other forwards. He will do that imo Difference is now that we have players behind the striker who can utilise it effectively Good squad option and expecting another in as well
Leon Kearney@_theleonkearneyJul 30
CBR is just the right physical & mental presence we need up top in this division. He's strong, antagonising and opposing teams won't like playing against him. With Ince, Ironside, Whitaker, Conlon, Okoro etc, we seem to be packing the attack rather than relying on one. SWA.

Aldershot fans seem to rate him and cannot see Brough staying as third choice so happy with this one

Now Ince as well! Its not been the quickest summer but you could make the argument that everyone has been an upgrade thus far #trfc #swa

It may be slower than all of us would want but I have been pleased with the way Clarke is addressing the issues in the squad, decent signings so far for me Will feel much more comfortable if we sign an experienced goalkeeper though, think its vital for the season
