September's hotter-than-expected inflation report has raised expectations of another Fed rate hike ahead of the October 27โ28 meeting.
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh speaks Thursday, October 15, at 11:30 PM ET at the IMF meetings in Bangkok.
His remarks could reshape expectations before the Fed's blackout period.
The bigger risk: Persistent inflation could force additional rate hikes in December and potentially into 2027.
