In 1957, Carl Jung wrote: "Everywhere in the West there are subversive minorities who, sheltered by our humanitarianism and our sense of justice, hold the incendiary torches ready, with nothing to stop the spread of their ideas." Jung believed only a small ā€œmentally stableā€ portion of the population keeps things together. His estimate was that only ~40% are psychologically grounded. The rest are one bad day away from breakdown. The point he was making is that most people are not rational. Their emotions possess them and when the pressure gets high enough: - Logic stops working. - Slogans take over. - Fantasy replaces reality. That’s when societies starts feeling like its upside down. Jung called it a ā€œpsychic epidemic.ā€ A kind of mass psychological contagion. He estimated that for every crazy person you see, there are ten more that are able to mask their perversity just enough to fit in to society. While they may not break out openly, their "views and behaviour, for all their appearance of normality, are influenced by unconsciously morbid and perverse factors." In that state, irrational people rise to the top, extreme ideas are normalized, and emotion overrides truth. "Their mental state is that of a collectively excited group ruled by affective judgments and wish-fantasies." Their delusional ideas, which hide their fanatical resentment, appeal to the irrational, "for they express all those motives and resentments which lurk in more normal people." "They are, therefore, despite their small number in comparison with the population as a whole, dangerous as sources of infection."

Winston is also just a good person. He has personally housed Hong Kong dissidents, ran massive campaigns to protect victims of CCP oppression and gave up his life's work to defend the truth.
I went on @BBCNewsnight and enraged all the usual radical-left loons stating these simple facts: ~1.85m foreign nationals claim Ā£23 billion in welfare each year in Britain ~ 1.3m foreign nationals claim Ā£11.9billion of Universal Credit Britain must put the British people first **Britains tax burden is the highest it’s been since the War (1948 to be exact)** If you want to lift people up, you have to create wealth. You have to incentivise work. Which means tax them less. Anyone who runs a business knows this. Since then, far-left X has launched a series of ad-hominem attacks. Some even saying these ideas are ā€œextreme far-rightā€ None of them have addressed the substance of my arguments. Instead they are trying to shame me for being in one of the most successful bands of last 20 years, whilst ignoring that I have one of the biggest independent politics podcasts in Britain. And ignoring that I’ve generated 10s of Ā£millions in wealth and taxes for the economy, created 1000s of jobs, and built several successful companies. Likewise they think that I might be anything but immensely proud to be associated with my own dad, one of the most successful businessmen and generous individuals this country has produced since the War, and his association with GB News, officially the most viewed and trusted news channel in the country. He’s a hero. Thanks to Newsnight for having me!

"We are not simply a collection of passport holders living within a geographical boundary." Isn't it extraordinary that this needs saying.
Farage apparently thinks the question of Englishness is an ā€œacademic debateā€, in his words, that is not worth engaging in - a simply extraordinary thing to say. We are witnessing profound demographic change across Britain, and the leader of Reform thinks the meaning of English identity is a subject to be brushed aside because he’s scared of being called a few unpleasant names. Englishness is NOT an academic debate. The English are a historic people. We have our own ancestry, heritage, culture, traditions and national identity. Incredibly, Farage disagrees with that. My view, and Restore Britain's view, is clear. We are not simply a collection of passport holders living within a geographical boundary. And acknowledging the existence of the historic English people does not mean denying that others can develop a genuine attachment and belonging to our nation, but that does not make them ethnically English. A government can print a passport, sadly we all know that - it CANNOT falsely manufacture centuries of history or ancestral roots. The historic English people have a home - it’s called England, and we have nowhere else to go. And yes, in that home, the English are being demographically replaced. That’s just a fact. It’s happening all over Britain, it’s happened all over Britain. Go to East London, Rochdale, Luton, Birmingham, Blackburn, Bradford. I could go on. This is NOT an academic debate. This is our home, or at least it was. Farage is simply not the man to save it. You cannot claim to defend a nation when you refuse to even acknowledge its historic people because you might get your feelings hurt. The hour is simply too late for that pathetic level of gutlessness. The English are not an academic abstract afterthought. We will not have our history and entire existence erased because cowardly politicians don’t have the courage to state the truth. We are a people, and England is our home. Restore Britain will defend it.

Every single sentence in your post is untrue. Labour’s 2002 ā€˜deal’ had very little long-term impact on migrants trying to sneak into the UK by lorry/container/vehicles. It simply moved from Sangette to other routes. Between 2014-2019 55,000 came in that way — an underestimate since many came in undetected and disappeared into society. Unlike boat people, nearly all of whom are counted. So it’s an obvious nonsense to say people weren’t being sent back because nobody was arriving. Tens of thousands were arriving. They switched to small boats when major advances in technology, perimeter defence of lorry/container parks and detection made lorries etc too risky to take. That’s why, from 2018 onwards, the small boat numbers grew fast. Nothing to do with EU, Brexit, Dublin rules, fairy dust etc. Why do you peddle such falsehoods?
2002 deal Labour struck with šŸ‡«šŸ‡· helped tackle lorry migrants. But small boats rocketed post-Brexit: 299ppl 2018 to 45,774 in 2022. When in EU, Dublin Rg was a deterrent as ppl arriving illegally wld be returned, so v.few came. We didn't send them back because they weren't here

Just delusional bullshit at this stage. Tertiary. The endstate The entire leftwing multikulti orthodoxy of sixty years is now in smoking French ruins, so all that is left for believers is abject and pitiful Denial ā€œNo immigrants were involvedā€
Nonsense from Trump. No immigrants were involved. The ultra left who attacked police and public buildings are almost all white French. The looters who exploited the chaos were very young kids from the poor suburbs, brown and black in many cases but almost certainly French

This piece of architecture is very familiar to me personally, since my parents-in-law live only a hundred metres from it. It has always been a pleasure to pass by this beautiful place, which reminds one of the glory and heritage of the nation. Together with my whole family, I am devastated to see this, and what France in particular and Europe in general have become. I have no idea how the problems should be solved, but certainly not by endless hypocrisy and public lies. It is time to save the great European civilisation — if that is still possible xitter.cf/MorgothsReview/status/…

"Conservatism starts from a sentiment that all mature people can readily share: the sentiment that good things are easily destroyed, but not easily created. This is especially true of the good things that come to us as collective assets: peace, freedom, law, civility, public spirit, the security of property, and family life, in all of which we depend on the cooperation of others while having no means singlehandedly to obtain it. In respect of such things, the work of destruction is quick, easy, and exhilarating; the work of creation slow, laborious, and dull." How to Be a Conservative

'It's the police who need a root and branch review' Hear, hear !
If police are so brainwashed against Reform they turn a blind eye to attempted arson at Nigel Farage’s home - the alleged arsonist is accused of later murdering poor Ann Widdecombe - then any review is useless isn’t it? It’s the police who need a root and branch review.

APPLICATION TO TURN A SHOP INTO A MOSQUE IN GOSPORT Gosport Islamic Society have submitted a planning application a shop into a mosque at 351B Forton Road, Gosport, Hampshire PO12 3HF. portsmouth.co.uk/news/politi… The proposal is on a busy main road (A32), has no dedicated parking, and expects to attract 50-60 worshippers on Fridays and at festivals like Eid, and to open for prayers five times daily. Local people are rightly concerned, particularly at the extra traffic in this congested area, and the harm to local amenity and to the character of this traditional British high street. The mosque would be on a school route, and close to a recreation ground and children’s play area. I am asking you for donations toward the out-of-pocket expenses of Ā£2,000 to resist it. givesendgo.com/Gosport As usual, none of the money goes to me, but to the costs of fighting this application. Please forwardšŸ”

In 1877, critic and essayist Walter Pater wrote that ā€œAll art constantly aspires towards the condition of musicā€ Ave Verum Corpus is a verification of that idea. No other art form gets so close to the Divine; to expressing the inexpressible
Only 46 measures. Approximately 4 minutes. Mozart wrote ā€œAve Verum Corpusā€ in June 1791 — near the end of his life. So simple it's almost bare, yet it contains the heavens. Leonardo Bernstein conducted it at Waldsassen Cathedral in 1990 — slowly, lovingly, as if unwilling to leave each note. A miracle in a small package.
