The passage of SB 202 is deeply disappointing. This divisive bill is unnecessary and is designed to suppress voter turnout in communities of color and other minority groups. It is shameless to change the rules of the game simply because you lost.

We agree with and are in solidarity with those calling out this plan as inequitable. It is.
Disability rights, racial justice, and workers' rights groups, we see you, and all the ways Gov. Lamont is leaving marginalized people behind.
Gov. Ned Lamont said Monday he is throwing out the state’s current playbook for the COVID-19 vaccine rollout – which prioritized people with underlying medical conditions and certain types of essential workers – and is now shifting to an age-based system.

CT drastically and suddenly change course on the vaccine rollout to depriortize those with chronic health conditions is unacceptable. I’ve seen your cherry-picked data to justify the decision, and I am not buying it. Really disappointed. @jahimes @GovNedLamont @ChrisMurphyCT
This is not equitable, and it goes against CDC guidelines and what almost every other state is doing. I’m extremely appalled by this decision. So glad that healthy younger people will get the vaccine before anyone with underlying chronic health conditions 🙄🙄🙄
