Canada can be an energy superpower but it will take action, not just words. We are all about action and recently celebrated all of the construction activity underway at our Rook I Project - coming to a theatre near you soon and delivering >50% of western world supply @kevinolearytv @NexGenEnergy_
Yesterday, we marked a major milestone, celebrating the work that has brought NexGen’s Rook I Project to this point, the progress already underway toward production, and its future as the world’s largest uranium suppliers - generating enough fuel to supply over half of the western world’s needs equivalent to powering all of the homes in the 5 most populous US states (California, Texas, New York, Florida and Pennsylvania) - every year! $NXE #Rook1 #GoodEnergy #Saskatchewan #Uranium @leighcuryer @travmcph

Saskatchewan’s veteran uranium miners now face scrappy rivals — and sparks are flying Cameco says it is not 'hyper-promoting massive growth projects,' in a veiled dig at its competitors. NexGen Energy, one of those challengers, decries 'an old story of complacency' 🍿 financialpost.com/business/e…

"Rook I is one of the projects of national interest that we’re advancing” - Prime Minister Mark Carney Speaking in Fort McMurray this week, the Prime Minister singled out NexGen Energy's Rook I uranium project calling it a huge opportunity for Saskatchewan and for Canada as a whole. The comments came during a big week for energy in the province: 🔹 Saskatchewan announced plans for two new large-scale nuclear reactors in the northwest, targeting 2042, alongside 600 MW of small modular reactors near Estevan 🔹 The province is planning to add 2,600 MW of power by 2050 🔹 Ottawa says it has signed 50 deals worth more than $20 billion over the past year to diversify Canada's trading partners, with uranium "front and centre" Canada is betting big on nuclear, and NexGen is at the centre of it! $NXE $NXG #NexGen #Uranium #NuclearEnergy #Saskatchewan #Canada sasktoday.ca/provincial-news…

We took another major step toward securing Saskatchewan’s nuclear energy future today, with our plan to have 2,600 MW of nuclear power by 2050. Reliable, affordable power is essential for Saskatchewan families to thrive and for businesses and communities to grow. We're building on our world-class uranium resources, skilled workforce and growing nuclear expertise to strengthen energy security, attract investment and support long-term growth across our province.

Was a pleasure to sit down with @BankofAmerica analyst Lawson at the 38th Annual Mining Americas Forum to talk about the global significance of @NexGenEnergy_ in today’s rapidly evolving world. Base load power is everything. There is no GDP growth, no standard of living improvements and certainly no AI without the immediate meaningful expansion of base load generation. While policy support is there, capital is there regulatory reform is there, the reality is that we need significantly elevated uranium prices over sustained years to incentivize many new material discoveries. Those made tomorrow won’t see first pounds out of the ground until the 2040s and so it is vital this pricing cycle starts yesterday. We at NXE are bringing on the world’s most significant uranium mine ever seen, however the reality is that it will only replace that which is scheduled to come offline.

As a Canadian I applaud @MarkJCarney and the GoC for the Invest Canada Summit in terms of the messaging sent to the world in a well presented marketing package. The key to evaluating the success of this marketing effort over the next 12 months will come down to 2 key aspects: 1) regulatory timeline streamlining and guarantees to answers (either “yes” or “no”) and 2) seeing Canadian institutions (and particularly the pensions) investing in Canada. We cannot ask the world’s investors to invest in Canada when our own institutions don’t. Rightfully international institutions have asked “why don’t you then invest in Canada as you know it better than us”. The 2 keys to success are clearly linked in that the answer is all in approval timeline certainty. Money will not invest without accountability around decision timeframes and this was the key question asked by all institutions at this summit. Canadian pensions manage $5.5 Trillion or 160% of GDP yet only invest under 25% of that domestically. If Canada is truly the country that the summit portrayed (and I believe it certainly can be) then these Canadian pensions should own significantly more of it and to the benefit of both the pensioners and also the country. A fundamental shift in the regulatory regime and framework is a necessity for success here and investors will sit on the sidelines until this is actually actioned 🇨🇦

A groundbreaking day for Saskatchewan.   The Rook I Project means new opportunities for Saskatchewan workers and real benefits for northern and Indigenous communities through jobs, careers, local business development, and long-term wealth creation.   Congratulations to NexGen on this important milestone and on the partnerships helping to create new opportunities and a stronger future for communities across the North.   It's an investment in people, opportunity, and Saskatchewan's energy and economic security for generations to come.

I was honoured to join @PremierScottMoe, Ministers Harrison and Rowden, former Premier Brad Wall, Secretary of State Belanger, NexGen CEO Leigh Curyer and local First Nations leaders for the official groundbreaking of the Rook 1 uranium mine in northern Saskatchewan. This is an exciting, globally significant project for Saskatchewan and for Canada. When completed, Rook 1 will deliver 20% of the world’s uranium supply with lasting economic benefit for the community and beyond.  My congratulations to the entire team at @NexGenEnergy_ for reaching this exciting milestone.
