Seconded. Don't understand why @CapitalOneArena @WashWizards didn't use the arena sound? We were in the 100 level and could not understand a damn thing.
Are the @WashWizards giving refunds for this game with how bad the sound for @Ludacris is? Completely inaudible.
Was great to see @mountain_goats @jonwurster and crew last night over @FillmoreSS. Lots of hits and tracks from the archive. If you're planning to see a show there, bring layers. Wear a hat. A/C was insane! 🥶❄️
"While bars, restaurants and clubs are subject to the same mandate, in practice, customers in these venues do not have to wear a mask as long as “they have a drink somewhere nearby,” the letter said.

I can agree w/Tom that pan con tomate is one of the best dishes at Spanish Diner. Not sure what that says, exactly.

When asked by @RamirezReports about a regional vaccine passport DC @MayorBowser said she didn't have anything to say.
When asked if she would be supportive of one, Bowser told Ramirez, "I don't know."

DC has just recorded its first Covid related death in August. The mask mandate has been in place for 12 days. Cases have roughly tripled. Hmmm.

@BarredinDC - I would have loved if DC started here, but given where they are now and the trend of cases I doubt they backtrack at all
Breaking: Philly expected to require businesses check vaccination status or mandate masks indoors (regardless of vax status)

As a reminder, because DC typically hews closely to CDC guidance we likely won’t see vaccine mandates replace mask mandates at biz like gyms/restaurants unless CDC adjusts guidance or Mayor decides on her own over DC Health 1/

4. Other studies have shown that vaccinated people get over infection more quickly - unsurprising since vaccination basically gives your body a massive head start in fighting Covid.
So vaxxed likely infectious for *less long* than unvaxxed.

A key point in the story of the DC mask mandate: city officials aren't willing to lay out *any* metrics for when they'll roll it back.

If @CDCgov updated public guidance to be similar to private guidance (I.e. no masking when vax status of all is confirmed), I could see this being implemented for all biz quickly. But right now, @MayorBowser or @_DCHealth would have to do their own public health analysis to do it
JUST IN: D.C. gyms asking @MayorBowser @_DCHealth to allow them to be exempt from mask mandate if they operate for vaccinated only. @fox5dc
Folks like @MayorBowser and @falcicchio can say that #DCisOpen but I'll tell you that class sizes at my yoga studio have plummeted since the new mandate. Let's please find a reasonable solution for vaxxed folks!

Your move, @CorePowerYoga! And baseball! Also, it'll be nice to not have to drive to Tysons to see a movie!
