As our flagship event, the Day of Dialogue approaches (p.s., November 19 👀 ) - we'd like to take a brief moment to announce (and remind everyone), that nominations for the Canadian Integrity Award (CIA) are open! transparencycanada.ca/nomina…

Let's talk about #whistleblowers. 🤔
We have something called the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act (CFPOA), which makes it illegal for companies to engage in corrupt practices, when working abroad.
if there's no protection for the people that bring forward evidence? 🤷♀️ Yesterday, we released a new, smaller (and readable) publication highlighting six priority areas for Canada to meet its international legal obligations and address foreign bribery ~ remaining competitive.
The overall consensus? Raising the bar! ✨

Canada hit its lowest-ever ranking in #CPI2024.
We’ve made progress on beneficial ownership & foreign agent laws—but fall behind on #dirtymoney, #whistleblower protection, and enforcement.
#elxn2025 parties must:
🔒 Close loopholes
💰 Provide resources
⚖️ Enforce laws

We have great options for working with countries that thrive on the rule-of-law. for example: UK, EU, Japan, South Korea, Australia/NZ, Mexico, and yes, Greenland, where we also have a strategic relationship as they work toward their rightful independence.

The parties are talking about housing affordability - but they’re not talking about why Canada’s housing market is radically more expensive than the rest of the G7.
Corruption in our housing market is excessive and drives up costs, pricing young people out of the market.
🚨 Canada ranks behind Russia & China on anti-money laundering in real estate.
Weak rules = dirty money flooding our housing market.
