I’m increasingly aware of the gender bias in Sport Sciences. Great topic, great panel…but where’s all the girls at?

Seems to be a universal truth for complex systems; the (framework) PLANNING process is indispensable and invaluable, BUT detailed (micro-level) PLANS generated far in advance are pretty useless, and sometimes even harmful if they inhibit adaptability to real-time conditions.
Starting to realize that training planning and software planning are very similar. While having a 'macro' plan is indispensable, planning down to the 'micro' level in advance is a complete waste of time.

I cannot stress to you how much you do not want COVID-19. I’ve taken care of lots of flu patients over the past 20 years. This isn’t it. We are still holding the line in Chicago, but I fear what is coming.
