Haven’t been posting on here at all as most posts are now on Insta, but a lot has gone on. A senior success project just wrapped up! A new throne! @Brewster_HR @brewsterschools @BCSD_Asst_Supt
Using the @BoschToolsNA bulldog I brought in from home. This “foundation” had “rebar” in it and students saw first hand how this tool works and how rebar adds strength! @brewsterschools
Drilling into concrete and trying different anchor methods! #cte @brewsterschools
The ALL student made French cleat clamp wall is done! This came out great and gives us room to change things. Amazing job! #cte @BCSD_PTech_AP @brewsterschools
We made the paper! @lohud did an amazing job coming in and talking to our students about what we do in our different carpentry classes! @brewsterschools @BCSD_PTech_AP @BCSD_Athletics

Opportunity was the key word at today’s P-Tech assembly. Dave Carpanzano, Jess McCann & Niko D'Anglase, the P-Tech team, are on the lookout for the next class of P-Tech students; this year’s eighth-grade class will be next year’s third P-Tech cohort. tinyurl.com/mratx6dd

Are you a local business who would be willing to work with our school for either an internship, a mentorship, or come in to speak to our students? Please contact me if you are! @brewsterschools [email protected]
Lots of work getting done on the garden. Proud of these kids today! They worked hard! @brewsterschools @Brewster_HR @BCSD_BHSPrin @BCSD_PTech_AP

My 2 Home Repair classes will be outside and supervised by my seniors while they learn to rebuild garden beds that have rotted! #communitygarden @brewsterschools @Brewster_HR @BCSD_PTech_AP @BCSD_BHSPrin
My Carpentry 2 students will be Foremen next week as they oversee two classes in the reconstruction of our school garden! Taking measurements, checking materials today! #community @brewsterschools @Brewster_HR @BCSD_PTech_AP @BCSD_BHSPrin
Love it when we get back to making things. With it being close to the 250th anniversary I felt it was fitting to challenge my students with a flag shadow box. Complex corner angles. @BCSD_PTech_AP @brewsterschools @Brewster_HR
New stickers in for this years students! @brewsterschools @BCSD_BHS_AP @BCSD_Athletics @BCSD_BHSPrin

Ran into @jeff_naso the other day. Asked what I am doing with that wine barrel! Progress update! Flying up the tops and bottoms. Going to be a wine cabinet and a glass topped coffee table. @brewsterschools
When you’re a shop teacher and by an old wine barrel…..you just want to cut it open! 🤩 white oak staves stained red from Cabernet Sauvignon! What to make with it? 🤔 @brewsterschools
