[#Nowplaying] "Lamya's Poem" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Christopher Willis christopherwillis.lnk.to/Lam…

#NowPlaying️ A #JamesHorner original score that I have never listened to before - a rare treat! (Must find this physical release!) "Deadly Blessing" Original Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack by James Horner. open.spotify.com/album/0HoWD… (PS - Find me on Bluesky now)

Hello! Will try to post here when I can, but I've opened two accounts over to Bluesky (bsky.app). @tracksounds.bsky.social. (and my personal is @ccoleman.bsky.social)

Thus far I only have added TWO titles to my "Best of 2023" score playlist: Across the Spider-verse and The Flash. I assume I've missed some worthy titles (at least I hope I have) Please share any titles for new media released this year that I might have missed.

[#Nowplaying] Somehow I missed this very pleasant listen from last year. "The Gilded Age" soundtrack from the series by Harry and Rupert Gregson-Williams. open.spotify.com/album/7icj3… music.apple.com/us/album/the… amzn.to/45z8ROg #TheGildedAge

Hard to believe we've been listening to this score for 30 YEARS. The first-time-theater experience of this movie remains in my top 5 to this day. JURASSIC PARK by John Williams open.spotify.com/album/1yyFm… amzn.to/3QCgijK

Joe Hisaishi and his latest Ghibli work, "The Boy and the Heron"

Just noticed that Michael Giacchino is the 4th credit in the "Incredibles 2" end credits. That has to be one of the earliest credit appearances for a composer in a contemporary, mainstream, big-budget film, doesn't it? #incredibles

#Oppenheimer is already being discussed as a shoe-in for major award nominations, do you think Ludwig Göransson's original score will be among those noms?

[#NowPlaying] While the movie did not hit for me, it certainly wasn't because of Lorne Balfe's original score. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 open.spotify.com/album/4t1wH… music.apple.com/us/album/mis…

A compelling enough trailer, but the incongruence of the trailer music does nothing to make me want to see this film. In fact, it does the opposite. I do very much look forward to Martin Phipps' original score though ... if he is, indeed, still on the project.

[#Nowplaying] Once again @DANIELPEMBERTON rises to the creative challenge with his evolving Spider-verse sound in #SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse. A must-watch. A must-listen. open.spotify.com/album/6nlUF… music.apple.com/us/album/spi…

[#NowPlaying] Digging the arrangement of ... "Princess Leia's Theme (Extended Jazz Version) from Star Wars by John Williams, Pablo J. Garmon Some fun motivic cameos in there, too. open.spotify.com/track/5CMz0…

[#NowPlaying] Not for a second did I think #TheFlash would be the most intriguing looking DC feature film since ... Wonder Woman? Nor did I expect the score to be symphonically heroic. "Worlds Collide/Run" by Benjamin Wallfisch. open.spotify.com/album/7IoCI… music.apple.com/us/album/wor…

[#NowPlaying] The thrilling and daring "Main Title" from Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures by @matthewmargeson Seems Star Wars music is at its best when targeting the youths, these days. youtu.be/PSIxIkfDk4c

[#NowPlaying] Star Trek: Picard Season 3 original soundtrack by Stephen Barton and Freddie Wiedmann. (Still haven't watched it, but it sure does sound good.) open.spotify.com/album/6VT2W… music.apple.com/us/album/sta…
