📵Schools are increasingly expected to address issues like bullying, obesity, and smartphone use through a plethora of initiatives. The next government must pace new initiatives to ensure existing ones are fully integrated.

The HSCL programme has proven successful and should be available to all schools to support disadvantaged students everywhere. It should be staffed by experienced teachers with a strong understanding of DEIS.

Teachers are the backbone of our country, shaping futures, inspiring minds, and driving the success of our society. The recent comments made by the Ryanair CEO at Minister Burke’s campaign launch were outrageous and an insult to the dedication and hard work of our teachers.
