🔥 AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL 🔥 by Randy Ferrell How do you sing about a country you love when the words catch in your throat? “AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL” is a thunderous cinematic rock lament that turns heartbreak into sound. It follows one man wrestling with grief, anger, and the distance between the promise he grew up believing in and the struggles he sees around him. 🎹 It begins with a solemn, exposed male delivery of “Oh beautiful for spacious skies.” Piano enters beneath the weight of those familiar words. From that quiet beginning, the music builds into crushing electric guitars, resounding drums, emotional solos, and one lone voice rising from wounded restraint to soaring, full-throated desperation. At its heart is a plea: AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL Don’t make me sing goodbye 💔 Bills beside the bread. Uncertain futures. Questions waiting for answers. People carrying more than anyone can see. The lyrics bring a national conversation down to a human scale, not through statistics or slogans, but through the everyday weight of trying to live, provide, belong, and believe. This isn’t a song pretending the past was perfect. It is about the meaning of the promise. “I never thought that beautiful meant nothing ever broke” ❤️ A hand reaching for yours when hope feels distant. The dignity of being heard. The possibility of belonging without having to look, pray, or think exactly like someone else. That is where the song’s anger meets its heart. Beneath the heavy guitars and the ache in the vocal is someone who still cares too much to turn away. 🗳️ As the song builds, its narrator moves from grief toward personal responsibility: reading the record, weighing claims, finding his own voice, and deciding what comes next. 🦅 For anyone who has struggled to reconcile love with disappointment, or wondered how to hold on without looking away, the song leaves one question ringing: How do we make America beautiful again? 🎧 Turn it up. Feel every word. 🎸 Let the guitars carry the ache. 🥁 Feel the thunder beneath the heartbreak. ⚡ Stay for the quiet ending. Let the question linger. If this song connects with you: 👍 LIKE the video and help more listeners discover it. 🔔 SUBSCRIBE and turn on notifications for more original music from Randy Ferrell. 💬 COMMENT with the lyric that stayed with you—and what “beautiful” means to you. 📲 SHARE it on X, Facebook, or directly with someone who would feel its message. 🎶 SAVE it to your playlist and return to the words that resonate with you. Lyrics: O beautiful for spacious skies They taught me songs of open skies Before I learned to doubt Now I can hold a perfect note And still feel hollowed out A recall flashes on the screen A bill beside the bread I count the things we need to live And all the words unsaid That old refrain is in my veins But every note comes back with pain I take one breath, I lift my eyes And let the silence break tonight AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL Don't make me sing goodbye AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL Don't let the promise die No life is just a headline No wound is just a trend How do we make America Beautiful again? She wonders what her care will cost He wonders if his work will stay A soldier folds a letter twice And puts what he can't say away A camera holds a shaking frame A question waits beneath the light I need the truth behind the words Not just a side to prove I'm right The bitter words are in my throat A human heart behind each vote I take one breath, I lift my eyes And let the silence break tonight AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL I won't just sing goodbye AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL I won't let the promise die I won't become my anger Or let it choose the end How do we make America Beautiful again? I never thought that beautiful Meant nothing ever broke It meant a hand could reach for mine Before I lost all hope Not just the ones who pray like me Or wear the skin I wear A country starts to feel like home When everybody matters there I'll read the record, weigh each claim No borrowed voice will own my name I'll cast my ballot, speak my mind And leave no part of me behind Don't tell me how the story ends While there's a page beneath this pen I feel that old refrain begin I'll sing until I mean it again AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL That cannot be goodbye AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL I won't let the promise die I'm more than all this anger You're more than where you've been How do we make America Beautiful again? AMERICA WAS BEAUTIFUL I'll sing until it is, once again Together we'll rise, and America the beautiful, it will be called, once again Original lyrics by Randy Ferrell Opening lyric from “America the Beautiful” © Randy Ferrell. BREAKING: Mayor Zohran Mamdani STUNS New Yorkers by releasing hidden 9/11 records which show that Republican officials misled them about the air quality near Ground Zero. Meanwhile, Trump is lying about having helped with rescue efforts on that day... "On Friday, we will mark 25 years since the worst tragedy to ever befall our city. The darkest day New York City has ever known," Mamdani said at a press conference. "And yet the devastating truth is that the suffering did not end once the smoke cleared and the dust settled." "For so many New Yorkers who lived or worked or studied near Ground Zero, and for the thousands of others who worked on the pile, recovering those we lost and clearing the rubble, that was only the beginning of years of hardship and illness that would follow," he continued. Mamdani's administration has now released over 170,000 pages of documents that were previously hidden from the public which show that city officials at the time (under Mayor Rudy Giuliani) knew that the air near Ground Zero was unsafe to breathe. At the same time, those officials were publicly lying about the issue and telling New Yorkers that there was nothing to worry about. "Thousands of ironworkers and firefighters and office workers and so many more remember September 11th not just each time we mark the passage of another year, but as Congressman Nadler once said, each time they take a struggling breath, each time they have to swallow a pill, each time another chemo dose is administered," Mamdani went on. "And as the years pass and the human toll grows, we reckon with the cost of September 11th whenever another New Yorker is stolen from us too soon." "Now, close to 25 years later, more people have died from 9-11 related illnesses than were killed on the day itself," he said. "It would be one thing if government had stood alongside survivors and provided them with everything they needed at every step of the way. And yet we know that could not be further from what actually happened." "People got sick because the leaders they trusted lied and told them they were safe to breathe in toxic air," he continued. "And then when they began to contend with the symptoms of the illnesses that followed, the government that had not hesitated to send them into harm's way was nowhere to be found." This is what real leadership and accountability look like. Mamdani is laser-focused on doing what's right for his city, which in this case means revealing the full unvarnished truth. The MAGA agitators who have been loudly demanding that he stay away from the 9/11 memorial events should be ashamed of themselves. Please ❤️ and share if you support Zohran Mamdani!

Who the fuck thought bombing Iran would get them to "give up"? Seriously, which incompetent idiot believed this? Did they not review Vietnam where we bombed North Vietnam for 5 years and then, they threw us out. Or maybe Afghanistan when we went to overthrow the Taliban and 20 years later, the Taliban is back in charge. Iran has said it struck two tankers trying to pass through the strait of Hormuz under the escort of the US military as Donald Trump gathered his cabinet to discuss the stalling war and rising prices as midterm elections in the US loom.

BREAKING: MUTINY! Republican senators brutally turn on Pete Hegseth as his illegal Iran War collapses into humiliating failure. Rats always flee a sinking ship… “I don’t have any confidence in him anymore. I think he’s all over the place — he’s accelerating the retirement or forcing out some of the most distinguished leaders in the DOD that we have,” said Senator Thom Tillis, who has not been shy about criticizing the administration due to his looming retirement. Unfortunately for Donald Trump, Tillis’ vote will be crucial if Trump wants to ram through a budget resolution before the August recess. The White House is absurdly requesting an additional $73 billion for Pentagon and intelligence spending, the lion’s share of which will be wasted on the Iran War. Countless Americans are struggling to even afford groceries, but the President wants to burn through our taxes to wage a war he can’t win on behalf of Israel’s national interests. And standing at the front of this historic debacle is Hegseth, a man who would be out of his depths in two inches of water. “I think he’s got a massive insecurity complex, he has a lack of experience in large organizations, he micromanages too much. He’s lost my confidence,” Tillis said of Hegseth. But Tillis isn’t the only Republican who feels this way. He revealed that there are “other people” who are just “one decision or another” away from speaking out against Hegseth’s disastrous tenure. Given how quickly this alcoholic, washed up Fox News host makes mistakes, we will inevitably reach the tipping point where the political cost of speaking out (and thus incurring the ire of the MAGA base) is more palatable than the cost of silence. The Hill spoke to an anonymous Republican senator who is “close to Defense policymakers” and they revealed just how dire the confidence crisis has become for Hegseth. “I have heard out of the Pentagon that there’s a loss of confidence — within the Pentagon. And of course then everyone here on the Hill hears those same concerns,” the lawmaker said. In addition to the botched Iran War, Hegseth has instituted a culture of ignorance and fear at the Pentagon, derailing the promotions of highly qualified female service members and forcing respected, experienced leaders into early retirement. “Everybody knows about some of the Game of Thrones stuff going on with some of the other service secretaries and Hegseth,” said Tillis. “It seems like he wants to run the whole place.” “When you’re a leader, you better damn sure have people smarter than you in the room,” he added. “You’re supposed to be air traffic control for all these brilliant people and he’s undermining the DOD’s success by undermining these brilliant people who spent their career in uniform.” The problem is that with Hegseth, no matter what room he steps into, every single person in it is smarter than him. But rather than embrace his own profound intellectual limitations, he lashes out, childishly punishing people for knowing more than him. His perfect version of the Pentagon is a building full of 80 IQ men (because he only wants men around him) who do nothing but flatter his ego and praise his idiotic decisions. Another Republican senator told The Hill that there are “rumblings” about the stunning failure to anticipate Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz — which virtually every geopolitical analyst predicted. “I think there’s a sense it’s taken longer than what we thought and that maybe our strategy didn’t factor in the Strait of Hormuz or [Iran’s] ability to be willing to hit their neighbors. I think there was some miscalculations maybe,” the senator said. What would happen to you and your job if you performed as poorly as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth? Please ❤️ and share to demand that Hegseth be fired immediately!

“Power fears sunlight. The truth doesn’t.” The image hits hard because it exposes how secrecy fuels suspicion. Real leadership means opening the files, facing the facts, and letting the truth speak louder than the spin.
The congressional switchboard number is (202) 224-3121. Put it in your cell phone. Use it. If you're not calling at least once a week, you're not doing your part.
