3. Minutes passed. I waited.
I hoped more passengers would show up.
After about 30 minutes, a lady arrived.
“Ah! How long have you been here?” she asked. We chatted, then another passenger came… then another.
At some point, I felt a strong urge to pray quietly. I went silent.
10. Sometimes, when we feel delayed, disappointed…It may just be God working behind the scenes to preserve us from what we cannot see.
Many times, we never know the reason; this time, I did.
I am no better than those who lost their lives. What I received was mercy and grace.
@iambrolorin’s 5-track EP, Lágijù is now finally out with the video of Òjò Ire, a powerful and evocative Yoruba alternative song. This track paints a vivid picture of a land in severe famine, with its people lifting their voices in prayer, asking for rain to nourish the barren earth and restore hope.
Using rich agricultural and cultural metaphors, “Òjò Ire”, which translates to “The Rain Of Goodness” conveys the deep connection between nature, spirituality, and survival. Though sung in Yoruba, its universal message of perseverance, faith, and divine intervention speaks to the hearts of listeners across the globe.

Didn’t have to think about the costume for too long. A cap and Agbada attire and that double as a mask and a wing/glider suit because there are obvious not enough skyscrapers in Lagos to be swinging from.
