“The most evil man I have ever known”- Ava Gardner
Ava Gardner with lover George C. Scott in 1965. Director John Huston introduced Gardner to Scott in Rome in 1964, when the two were cast as Sarah and Abraham in the director’s upcoming “The Bible: In the Beginning”. Ava said later, “If I had any female intuition at all, the mention of that name should have set off every internal alarm within earshot. Because the trouble that Abraham and Sarah were having on the biblical front was nothing compared to the storm between George and me that was about to break behind the scenes.” Initially, the relationship looked promising. The actress confessed, “I admit that I liked him immediately. He was smart and funny, but there was something odd about him.” She was about to find out just how “odd” he was. While Ava was known for her drinking, Scott was in a horribly different league. The actress said, “When he drank he became an animal. Most men, when they’re drunk, might at the very worst, slap you, but he was a sadist.” Scott subjected Gardner to horrific physical abuse, that resulted in her hospitalisation and near disfigurement. It was not just confined to the periods when the actor was intoxicated. In her posthumously published memoir, “Ava Gardner: The Secret Conversations”, she recalled, "I was scared to death of him." On numerous occasions, Scott broke down the door of her hotel rooms, whether in Rome, London, or Hollywood, and beat her so severely that she was left "not only black-and-blue, but bleeding." During a particularly savage attack at London’s Savoy Hotel, Scott smashed furniture and bottles, threatened Gardner's assistant with the broken glass, and nearly killed the actress, attempting to strangle her and rendering Gardner unconscious. Though Scott was never arrested - Ava was too frightened to take action against him - the Savoy banned the actor for life because of his destruction of hotel property. When she tried to end the relationship, Scott attacked her again, and Ava cowered in a corner, sobbing. The situation became so dangerous that her ex-husband, Frank Sinatra, sent mob-affiliated hoodlums to threaten Scott and warn him off after another brutal assault at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Remarkably, Scott proposed marriage, but with Sinatra’s support, she succeeded in ending the relationship for good. Gardner said to friend of my parents, who was one of her confidantes, “I still have nightmares about him. He wasn’t normal. He was evil. He was the most evil man I’ve ever known.”

Before you go to vote, remember what is at stake.
James Talarico will be a 100% reliable vote for Chuck Schumer. He will re-open our borders, take away your Second Amendment rights, and end Texas' oil industry.
He will fight for taxpayer funded abortion through birth and trans surgeries for minors-- and rub your most deeply held Christian beliefs in your face while doing it.
We need everyone to get out and vote for @KenPaxtonTX, a leader who will deliver for us in the Senate just as he's done as our Attorney General.

I'm getting sick and tired of these Putin apologists acting like the war in Ukraine is some kind of natural disaster that Putin just found himself in and that Ukraine wants to perpetuate.
Putin started the war. Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine wants to be free.
How is this difficult?

Not a single Muslim-owned shop or mosque was looted during the riots in France.
On one street in Marseille, where 40% of the population is Muslim, ALL Jewish-owned businesses were set on fire, while not a single Muslim-owned business was touched.
The odds of that happening by random chance are 1 in 123 billion.
These were targeted pogroms. The rioters had lists of addresses identifying which shops to attack.

The Democrat Party is the party of lawlessness, ghetto behavior and Islamic communism.
Florida, beware!
Angie Nixon @AngieNixon just bragged about getting arrested in the Florida State House:
“Y’all know I took out a pink bullhorn and shut those proceedings down. Sometimes you gotta get in good trouble, necessary trouble. Y’all know they arrested me? Shameful.”
Nixon made these remarks during her Tallahassee event with Bernie Sanders @BernieSanders.
Senate Democrats have transformed into Ghetto Islamic Communists.

On a mild March evening in 1974, a 23-year-old Princess Anne was minutes from Buckingham Palace when a white Ford Escort cut across The Mall and forced her car to a halt.
Inside with her were her husband of four months, Captain Mark Phillips, her lady-in-waiting, her chauffeur, and a single protection officer, Inspector James Beaton.
What followed was one of the most extraordinary moments in modern royal history—not because of panic, but because of refusal.
Ian Ball, a 26-year-old who had planned the abduction for years, stepped out armed with two handguns. In his car were handcuffs, sedatives, and a typed ransom note demanding millions from the Queen. He had come for the Queen’s daughter.
Beaton got out to confront him and was shot almost immediately. His own pistol jammed. Wounded—later accounts indicate he was hit multiple times—he kept placing himself between the gunman and the princess.
The chauffeur was shot. A journalist who stopped to help was shot. A young police constable who arrived and managed to radio for backup was shot. Four men lay injured on the pavement.
Ball opened the rear door, aimed at Anne, and ordered her out. She looked at him and answered with three words that have become legend: “Not bloody likely.”
She did not scream or plead. As Ball grabbed her arm and her husband held her from the other side—tearing her dress in the struggle—she stayed composed and began speaking to him calmly and directly, as if handling a difficult but solvable problem rather than facing an armed abductor.
Every second she kept him talking was a second for help to close in.
Help arrived in the form of Ronnie Russell, a former heavyweight boxer driving past. He walked up behind a man who had already shot four people and punched him in the head, giving Anne the opening to break free. Ball fled into St. James’s Park; Detective Constable Peter Edmonds chased him down and arrested him.
All four wounded men survived.
Inspector Beaton later received the George Cross. Russell and the constable who radioed for help received the George Medal. Royal protection was overhauled; the era of a lone bodyguard ended.
The night is remembered for layered courage: a bodyguard who kept moving after being shot, strangers who ran toward gunfire, a boxer who threw the decisive punch, and at the center a young woman who simply refused to be taken.
Bravery is not always loud. Sometimes it is a steady voice and a clear decision that you will not go quietly—three words, no weapon, and no certainty of the outcome. ❤️

The honour was mine, Mr President. As I told you when we first met in Kyiv four months into the war, you’re a modern-day Churchill fighting for freedom and democracy against an evil dictator. The free world must help you win. 👊👊

"You deserve a senator who is grateful to this country!"
"You deserve a senator who looks at this state and sees something to protect and to build upon. NOT something to apologize for."
"Ladies and gentlemen, you deserve Senator Mike Rogers!" 🇺🇸
JD absolutely crushed it in Michigan today. 10/10 speech
