Asexual and aromantic are not “spicy straight trying to be special LGBT”. This argument, much like “you’re not really bi/pan if you are with someone of the opposite gender”, asks for visibly performative queerness then ignores the inherent queerness in these experiences.🧵

We continue to talk about what’s “age appropriate” sex education for grade 9.
As Saskatchewan only requires 1 health/physical education credit in high school, for many students, this is also their last formal sex education.

We are recruiting for HERE-Bi, an 8-week #selfesteem intervention for #bisexual young people who have experienced thoughts, urges or actual non-suicidal self-injury in the past 6 months.
