You don’t need a data centre to bake on Tezos. 🧑🍳
A modern mini PC can handle the setup and tools for running, monitoring and maintaining a baker have come a long way.

📣 TezBake with Octez 25.2 support is now available.
⚠️ Upgrading to Octez 25.2 is strongly recommended.
Before updating, confirm that your bakery does not have any blocks coming up soon, then run:

📢 Octez version 25.2 has just been released!
Octez v25.2 hardens the Octez node against security threats and improves its robustness.
We recommend that all node operators and bakers upgrade promptly.

Tezos stackexchange election now open for self nominations. Tick Tock

🌐 Tezos (tezos:native) Late August 2026 Core Tech & Scaling Updates! 🚀
Current Price: ~$0.22 - $0.23 | Formidable double-bottom structure breaking out! 📊
The self-amending pioneer is aggressively pushing unprecedented speed upgrades 👇
1️⃣ Slashed Block Times & 15x DAL Bandwidth! Following the successful activation of the Tallinn and 21st Ushuaia upgrades, Layer 1 block times have dropped to a rapid 6 seconds. DAL data layers have expanded 15x (to 10 MB/s), slashing L1 confirmations down to 12-18 seconds! ⚙️⚡️
2️⃣ Tezos X Paradigm Shift is Next: Core dev branches are fully locked on the upcoming Tezos X mainnet rollout. This massive architecture redesign completely bridges execution & data availability, promising a mind-blowing sub-second (~50ms) transaction finality! ⏱🪐
3️⃣ Native Liquid Staking via sTEZ: Active testnet validation is underway for sTEZ—the official protocol-native liquid staking asset. Operating as a non-rebasing FA2.1 token, it will soon allow users to unlock staked XTZ capital for deep DeFi utility while retaining native staking APR. 🧪🔒
4️⃣ Corporate Backing: Institutional confidence remains exceptionally robust, underlined by public giants like TenX Protocols accumulating 5.5M XTZ for node baking, and active hedging liquidity from the US-regulated Bitnomial futures listing. 🏦📈
🔮 Technical Outlook: Confidently bouncing from the strong $0.20 support floor with daily RSI charging past 61. A clean close above the immediate $0.26 neckline sets up a powerful launchpad toward macro targets of $0.40+! 💎🚀
The technology never stops evolving. Keep your eyes locked on tezos:native!

I'm back!
I said I'd be taking time off of Tezos but I couldn't stop working on the Tezos Systems dashboard.
I combined the one line block ticker, the pulse news and the search bar into a single thing!
Check it out and tell me what/how you'd like to see on your dashboard. 👇

fxhash is down, so I made a viewer that doesn't need it. 👍

All 27,430 tezos projects, browsable and runnable. The fxhash catalog is snapshotted into the repo, iterations read live off Tezos, art streams from IPFS. 🌠

To everyone, thanks for the amazing years. It seems that the fxhash platform has come to a close. The artwork, however, lives on.
The lack of communication around the wind-down is regrettable. To clarify and provide some closure:
The entire fxhash team was let go in February, except for the founder. Currently, there appears to be no attempt being made to close on the loan offered to the company (the loan was previously mentioned in a post by ciphrd).
Therefore, no current or future development is being planned. The website is now offline, and it is unclear whether it will come back.
To all the people who made fxhash possible: artists, collectors, team members, enthusiasts, supporters, partners...in short, EVERYONE who took part in the special happening that was fxhash...THANK YOU!
We shared so much together and had a truly wild code-based ride. Thankfully, @verse_works @lerandomart @objktcom are supporting the viewing & exchange of artworks published on fxhash. Mega props to them for staying true to the mission through difficult times.
And former fxhash front-end developer @maerzhase3000 has developed a framework for keeping fxhash artwork available without relying on fxhash infrastructure: whitehash.m3000.io
It's too bad things ended like this. But between the monumental trove of artwork that formed a unique creative movement and the friends we made along the way, some might say we lived it to the fullest.
The discord community is indeed still online and active if you're looking for a place to hang and talk about the good ol' days.
