Six hours of work. Three weeks of calendar. The gap between steps is the problem, not the steps. Count the hands on your last project. Remove the ones who weren’t deciding anything, just being kept informed. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

Status can be read. Decisions can’t. Put updates in writing before the meeting and save the room for choices, blockers, and disagreements. Agenda rule: questions to answer, not topics to discuss. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

“This isn’t what I had in mind” is not an editing note. It’s a decision that never got made before the work started, now costing ten times more to fix. Fifteen minutes up front. Audience, point, action, and what it isn’t. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

Where do you get your news about new AI features, models, techniques, etc?
45
Two hours blocked. Forty minutes of actual output. You kept switching between deciding and producing. One session decides. The next produces against decisions already made. Questions that come up mid-production go on a list. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

A full marketing calendar measures activity, not results. List every recurring item. Next to each one: what has this produced in 90 days? Usually two or three things carry everything. The rest are running because nobody stopped them. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

Before you automate anything, write down one number and today’s date. Quote turnaround. Hours to first response. Time to write job notes. Check it in 30 days. That’s the difference between a tool that worked and one that felt good. Sponsored by @TexasCMO
33
Count last month’s missed calls outside business hours. Multiply by your close rate and average job value. That’s what the gap costs you. One of the few automations where you can calculate the payback before you build it. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

Automation multiplies the message you already have. Weak offer plus more distribution just confirms it faster. Take your offer to ten strangers who fit your market. If they can't say why it's different, stop publishing and fix that. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

Setup isn't the win. Repetition is. A tool that saves two hours only saves two hours if you use it every week. One process. Build it properly. Run it a month. Then pick the next one. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

The quote you send in two hours beats the better quote that takes three days. The first serious quote frames the decision. Everyone after you gets compared to it. Build the repeating parts once. Never automate the price. Sponsored by @TexasCMO
53
Your pricing rules, your objections, your standards. All in your head, none of it written down. That's the part no tool can supply. Write it the way you'd explain it to a new hire, then paste it in every time. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

Count your AI subscriptions. The real number is usually double what you think. The bar: saves an hour a week, or produces a sale you can name. Neither after 30 days? Cancel it. Eleven tools means eleven half-learned workflows. Sponsored by @TexasCMO
57
More content is a bet. Faster follow-up is a collection. Point AI at the second one first. Same-day replies, plus the day-fourteen touch nobody in your business ever sends. That's revenue this week. Sponsored by @TexasCMO
44
Don't start AI with the use case you read about. Start with the weekly task you hate. It repeats, you already know what good looks like, and you can count the hours saved in month one. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

Your competitor has the same model you do. The edge isn't access anymore. It's your customer data, your win-loss history, and pointing the thing at the expensive problem instead of the easy one. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

The work juniors used to learn on is automated. The learning still has to happen. Judgment came from doing the work badly and seeing what happened. You can't prompt your way to that. Sponsored by @TexasCMO

Oh, @wpengine the last three days I have asked for a call back. I haven't gotten one. In three days, you haven't called me. So I'm sitting on hold with your horrible music that I can't turn off waiting for someone I don't think will show up. What did you do to your support? You used to be so good.

Hey @wpengine - what happened to your "world class" support? I cant get into my portal - no idea why - and your chat is a piece of crap AI that can't find it's own ass. And now I've been on hold for over an hour without ANY contact. And I asked you AI how long I shoudl wait and it said they wil be with me when possible. For as much I pay you each month, I expect someone to actually answer the phone. I think your company may have finally jumped the shark. Who wants my WP hosting? I have a lot of sites, so its probably decent money for someone. I'm sick of being treated like shit.

No AI policy doesn't mean no AI use. It means invisible AI use. Three people, three private standards, no shared learning, and no way to tell what produced which result. Write half a page. Sponsored by @TexasCMO
