Back in September, we had a flood in our home from a burst hot water tank. While I wish we hadn't needed them at, I'm happy we had insurance with @avivacanada. They were surprisingly helpful and the service was great.

I was laid off from Twitter this afternoon. I was in charge of managing badge access to Twitter offices.
Elon just called me and asked if I could come back to help them regain access to HQ as they shut off all badges and accidentally locked themselves out.

Why do you make this hard @honeywell?
You track the unsubscribe page link from the email you sent me, so you know exactly who I am and how I got here.

So that shooting in Langley, BC today… let’s just say that is WAY too close. Like, less than “I can count that high on one hand” minutes away from where I live.
Not that any distance makes it ok.
Family and friends all ok.
Feeling horrible for the victims and witnesses.
Customer service SO GOOD, at first I thought it was a scam:
I bought something online from Lee Valley Tools months ago. Since then, they’ve reduced the selling price. I had no idea.
But guess what? They mailed me a REFUND CHECK and an explanation.
THANK YOU @LeeValleyTools
