Photoshop 27.11: our verdict is “Update”.
27.10's red color cast on the canvas (Windows, GPU on) is marked fixed by Adobe. It was the most-voted bug we track.
Still open: UI flicker on Windows, and “Edit in Photoshop” from Lightroom with Denoise.

Every Photoshop update: install now, or wait and see what breaks? The answer is usually sitting in Adobe's public bug reports, spread over dozens of threads. So I built something that reads them every night. shouldiupdate.app
An issue counts once Adobe is tracking it, or once enough people have voted. Each one is rated for how bad it is and how many people it hits. The worst open issue decides.
Adobe is rebuilding Photoshop's core engine.
I wrote about the NextGen Engine: GPU-first rendering, live filters in the layer stack, and no Smart Object workaround for Gaussian Blur.

Same task. Two workflows.
Finding the right document in Photoshop when you have many files open can be surprisingly slow.
