— SSAC Board of Control votes yes (117-12) to have four classifications in sports other than basketball. That matter will be voted on by the Board of Education this summer and would go into effect for the 2024-25 athletics season. (cont)

— Starting in October when reclassifying next occurs, schools will no longer be classified strictly on enrollment. They’ll now go off of the Competitive Balance Formula utilized in basketball. (cont)

— Three-week windows in June and July designated for teams to work with coaches in an organized setting in the offseason are no more. Instead, teams have 32 flex days to use when they wish.
