Honoured to be a part of the @Try4Matt 7s coaching team

Always a pleasure to chat rugby with @amrugbypodcast - this time looking at the big debate, Blitz v Drift

Don’t defend, attack without the ball . Being defensive implies your under siege, under attack from the opposition . With or without the ball, we’re the ones attacking . Good to be back coaching last week with @Sussex_RFU

Summit push - show me a better feeling

Winter 2024 - Scotland edition . Felt good getting some time on crampons, sharpening the ice axe and clipping in for some pretty stunning climbing . Onto the next one - Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 July 2024 . #expedition #training #mountainexpedition #fitness #mountainfit #expeditionfit #fyp

Here’s a little more about the expedition I’m taking on this July, Ibn Sina / Lenin Peak - 7,134m In Kyrgyzstan

Where will your @ChrisWardLondon C60 Anthropocene take you?

First mountain fit session of the week . Some off feet conditioning and some disco muscles as well as rehab on my shoulder . Hope you’re having a good week - get after your goals!

So, here she is - Ibn Sina Standing at 7,134m above the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan In around 6 months I’ll hopefully be standing at the top looking back down at this view Between now and then, there’s a lot of work to do So, better get started!

Excited to announce the next chapter in my adventures . Ibn Sina - 7,134m above Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in aid of @DSWFWildlife and @ChrisWardLondon

Really enjoyed this conversation - thanks for having me @amrugbypodcast

Good luck to anyone travelling @POferries for @rugbyworldcup in France - over 6 hours now combined at ports waiting for “technical difficulties” to be sorted…! @dfds_uk queue moving smoothly… #shambles

Thanks for having me on @amrugbypodcast - such a great conversation and platform for coaches. Get it in your ears!

Loved this conversation! A great podcast for coaches - coming out soon!!

Does what we say actually impact our team? Difficult to quantify, but it is something we should think about. So, what did you say to your team before your last game? And, crucially, did it have the desired impact?

Communication is key - talking to your team, the camera or yourself, doing it right matters Ensuring you’re getting your point across is key but also being mindful of how you’re perceived and the impact you have is just as important
