I clocked in last week and the waiting room was the same horror movie it’s been for years. Entire families of Spanish speakers. The addict screaming that he needs to be seen NOW. A regular who comes in for the same abscess because he lives in a car behind a liquor store and nobody is going to follow up.
Then I went home after 14 hours and watched the people on here argue about whether voting is beneath them and trying to convince people to sit this one out.
I don’t care if you’re mad at Thune, mad at RINOs, mad that 3/4 of the agenda we voted for didn’t land.
I work in a southern California ER. I already know what the Democrat’s version of “healthcare” and “compassion” looks like at 2 a.m.
Stay home in November and tell me later you didn’t vote for this. I will still be the one holding the bag. You’ll just get a better view of what I’ve already witnessed.
What would actually get you to the polls besides another AI meme that says “vote”?

Passing time in a tightly packed airport coffee shop recently, I ended up in conversation with a thirty-something couple sitting only inches from me. I was coming from Mexico City and they were going there. After the usual banter, I asked where they were from and learned they were New Yorkers moving out of that city. They didn’t offer a reason and I didn’t press for one.
They asked me what I did for a living and I explained that I was a writer currently investigating how cartels were smuggling people into the US. I say I was chatting with this couple, but it was really only with her. He said nothing the entire time. But he listened intently as she asked questions.
“You travel a lot? Where have you been?”
“Well, so far this year, I’ve covered the WEF in Davos, researched Karl Marx in London, went to Gaza with the IDF…”
“You’ve been to Israel?” She interrupted. “We’ve been there. What do you think of the war?”
I guessed that here our conversation would end unhappily. They were New Yorkers, so almost certainly heavily propagandized lefties. But I pressed on.
“Almost everything you hear in Western media is wrong…”
“You mean it’s a lie. How?”
“Oct 7 was not just a Charlie Hebdo-style terrorist attack. It was an act of war. More than 7,000 Hamas terrorists penetrated the frontier at more than 100 points. Inspired by Islam, they had been instructed to r8pe, behead, torture, and kidnap men, women, and children.”
He still said nothing, but leaned forward, eyes narrowing.
“Who helped them do it?” She asked.
“Iran was the biggest supplier, but North Korea, China, and Qatar mostly. The UNRWA also played a role. Weapons and matériel were stockpiled in Egypt and smuggled into Gaza through tunnels.”
“You know that?”
“I know that. Trust me.” That led to a discussion of President Sisi, the Muslim Brotherhood, and my standoff with Egyptian State Security in Cairo. Still, I had no real gauge for where they stood politically. She asked if I had written anything on the subject, so I pointed her to my article for The Federalist connecting the dots between Egypt, USAID, Gaza, and my swatting.
A woman sitting nearby, leaned over and said, “Forgive me for eavesdropping on your conversation, but this is fascinating.” We all chatted a bit longer and I left.
About 30 minutes later I was standing in line at the gate waiting to board my flight when the husband appeared.
“Pardon me, but I had to come find you.” He was full of emotion. He indicated that he and his wife were Israelis who had lived in NYC but were now fleeing Mamdani’s third world sh*thole.
“You are a man who needs the protection of angels,” he said, and then presented me with a Jewish holy book. “We want you to have this. I pray it protects you.”
With that he turned and walked away.
Gentile and fierce Protestant that I am, I was nonetheless deeply moved. It seems they had read the article and, catching a glimpse of my work, felt my life was in danger. For my own part, I was aware that the same ideology that threatened me, was the same one that threatened them, forced them to move, and imperiled their native land.
I’m often amazed by the people the Lord puts in my path when I pause long enough to look around and notice them.

Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, 1965
Over 65 years ago warned us all that the United States would be ruined by toxic empathy.
“False compassion… is a pity shown not to the mugged, but to the mugger; not to the family of the murdered, but to the murderer.”
And here we are today…

🚨 BREAKING: Elon just nuked the entire media playbook in under 90 seconds.
Journalist: “You support the far-right!”
Elon: “No. You support the lunatic left.
What was completely normal 10-15 years ago is now called ‘far-right’…
because your side went completely insane.”
Safe cities. Secure borders. Biological reality. Common sense.
None of that is “far-right.”
It’s just not crazy.
The Overton window didn’t shift right.
The left sprinted off a cliff and started calling everyone who didn’t jump “extremists.”
Elon said it out loud.
And the media still can’t cope.
Lunatic left.
He’s 100% right.

- Thinks that the gift of healing still exists in 2026.

Your entire life will be spent voting for the lesser of two evils. I’m 45 years old and that’s all I’ve ever gotten to do.
Welcome to being a grown up. Politicians suck. Choose the one who sucks the least.
Replying to @JesseKellyDC @AUTigerx89
Many of us are through with the ‘but the other side is worse than us’ logic. If we continue voting for the lesser of two evils, that’s all we’ll ever get. The GOP must be purged and rebuilt. It won’t happen if we reward the Trojan Horse.

Most ppl were sleeping last night when I posted this, so I had to post again! This play was NUTS by @JoshAllenQB last night! I wanted everyone to understand the high level of QB this is, here’s my breakdown! dropbox.com/scl/fi/3767lv1sh…
"I am."
Seven times in John's Gospel, Jesus begins a sentence with two words that got Him nearly stoned.
Not "I teach." Not "I bring." I am.
For a first-century Jewish audience, those two words weren't a figure of speech. They were the name God gave Himself at the burning bush.
Here are all seven, and what each one claims.

Apparently, I have misunderstood "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress" for years.
The narrator is an FBI agent surrounded by bootleggers when a gunfight breaks out.
So when he mentions "a pair of .45s," I assumed he meant guns.
He did not.
Songwriter Roger Cook said it was slang for the woman's bust.
That explains why the agent's temperature started rising.
I heard FBI and .45s and pictured guns.
Roger Cook was apparently thinking like a man.
The Hollies recorded the song in 1971 and released it in 1972.
Terry Sylvester played rhythm guitar on the original recording and later took over the lead vocal in concert.
That is @Terry_Sylvester singing lead in this video.
I may have watched it more than once. Strictly for research, of course.
