Claude reads its memory files every session and believes all of it.
I never read them. Turns out they're full of stuff that stopped being true months ago.
So now I open them all in Crit, leave a quick comment on each, and let Claude tidy up.

I guess that's one way to look at it :D
On the other hand, I'd say this has been an excellent way to publicly show that we are not one bit ready to stop reading code. The specs are inconsistent, the initial one-shot of all languages were garbage, reliability is overlooked, and everyone agrees the code is below standards across the board.
If someone is looking at this mess and saying "yeah, this means I can vibe in language xyz", then I don't think there is any amount of evidence that would convince them otherwise. Maybe we can stop reading code if we put effort into building solid practices and guidelines, but this "benchmark" also showed putting those in place require real work and we cannot just vibe our way through them.
I appreciate AI in support chats is inevitable and makes sense for majority of common issues, but please include a simple way to escalate to a human, especially when your AI is stuck in a loop.

At this point the only acceptable tech stack IMO is Elixir for web and Rust for everything else. Give me 1 good reason to still use a JS framework (besides extremely simple marketing/portfolio websites)
Every time models improve or I automate something new, I just end up discovering more jobs to be done.
Crit (crit.md/) hit over ⭐️ 1,000 stars on GH! Thank you to everyone who tried it or reached out with feedback! We continue strong 💪 Latest release officially ships Story mode - for reviewing large diffs grouped logically into chapters! See crit.md/modes/story

Happy to share I’ll be speaking at QCon in San Francisco this November about the work I’ve been doing at Forter.
QCon is a wonderful conference and I’m really looking forward to it :)
Omer van Kloeten, Principal Engineer at Forter, says reviewing code you didn't write is harder than writing it yourself, and AI just made that the default mode of engineering.
Full session details: buff.ly/m0RXr2V
I ask OpenCode to make a skill for itself. New session fails to find it. You'd think a harness would be really good at knowing itself, if nothing else.
So If I run out of my token quota that's included in my subscription in @claudeai /@ChatGPTapp /@cursor_ai , I can top up the on demand budget, but those tokens are much more expensive and the only way to get the same value as my sub is to... have another sub?
Last I checked they also don't make it easy to swap logged in profiles so it's maybe easier to have a backup subscription to another CLI... This might be a good way to try out @opencode Go sub
The problem with vibe coded software is that people ship features without thinking whether they should. Cmux started bundling its own CC wrapper that completely overrides your system settings? github.com/manaflow-ai/cmux/…
@manaflowai this seems like a complete violation of trust
This release is the latest that does NOT ship with this weird feature if you wanted to downgrade: github.com/manaflow-ai/cmux/…
A milestone I didn't think I'd be reaching this year - Crit surpassed 500 stars on GitHub 🥳 github.com/tomasz-tomczyk/cr… Thank you to everyone who gave it a go!!!
If reviewing agents' work is your new bottleneck, @_halshin made a wonderful crit walkthrough: youtube.com/watch?v=tNhPM82P…
Thanks @TheAxeR @omervk @prateekrungta @briankung and others for PRs and ideas in recent releases! crit.md
Working with @cursor_ai I'm really missing the ability to continue conversations on the go (my local machine ones) from a mobile app like @claudeai has

A few weeks ago, @tomasztomczyk was kind enough to pair with me and show me his AI workflow.
It was an awesome pairing session where he showed me everything, starting with his new tool (crit), his skills, commands, workflows, etc.
Thanks Tomasz for pairing! 🙏
