I genuinely can’t recall a game of this magnitude where a coach has cost his team in this way. Extraordinary and damaging for Tuchel.
England are paying Argentina too much respect here. Sitting way too deep out of choice.

Sack Tuchel tonight. No point him being here if he's just going to do that. Get out

1. Argentina were not creating much to warrant shifting to 5 at back 2. Tuchel even had time to ditch the disastrous idea of 5 at back as Argentina were creating chances even before the equaliser All in all those are the worst in-game changes that you will see. Sold the match.

First tweet in years but Tuchel needs to be sacked at the earliest opportunity. I’m furious we’ve just got a German Southgate. One of the worst 30 minute periods I’ve ever experienced watching sport. So predictably shit!!!

This is one of the most embarrassing coaching malpractices I can remember. He should feel a level of shame nobody has felt in a long time

I think that is close to sackable from Tuchel. A coach appointed at great expense for his tactical acumen and "ability to get over the line" needlessly forces England miles from it. All that money... for that?

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 mete el gol y se va atrás. Planteamiento cobarde. No han salido del área y han permitido a 🇦🇷 llegar más. Sucede lo lógico.

It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.

I realised recently that I have 50 films left to watch in the IMDB Top 250 list. I have decided to try and watch all 50 by the end of the year. I will give a rating out of 10 and a one sentence review for each. First up is Top Gun: Maverick which I saw yesterday

Barry Lyndon (1975), 8.1/10 A film that washes over you where nothing much seems to happen but there's something about it I loved - its stately cinematography and unrushed pace is masterly - one of Kubrick's best. I HAVE NOW WATCHED ALL OF THE IMDB TOP 250. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Another film entered the top 250 last week... Rififi (1955), 8.3/10 A masterclass of the heist genre and the progenitor of so many Hollywood films - the actual heist scene is so well done and the subsequent downfall of those who did it is very tense and directed with swagger.
