Received a public welcome from supporters.
Remained politically influential despite his criminal conviction.
The Big Question: How does a politician convicted of laundering public funds return home and remain influential in the same political system?

Quit your job, then see how many coworkers still check in.
Zero.
You don’t have coworker friends. You have friendly coworkers. Learn the difference.
Are you seeing the reactions of deltans over his demise?
Are you seeing deltans talking about how he affected the lives of the people directly?
When you pass you will be remembered for doing absolutely nothing, for thievery and corruption.
WE WILL SPIT ON YOUR MEMORY
I am deeply saddened by the passing of His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan (CON), former Governor of Delta State.
For me, this loss is deeply personal. As a former Governor and leader, we had a personal relationship. I will fondly remember him for his simplicity, humility, and eagerness to share his wealth of knowledge and experience with the younger generation.
In politics and governance, his years of service as Commissioner, Secretary to the State Government, and Governor, as well as his contributions to the growth and development of our beloved Delta State, remain an important part of our history.
As Governor, he believed in people and invested significantly in human capital development, both within and outside government. His love and compassion for others were truly remarkable. The Asaba international Airport stands as one of the enduring monuments to his legacy as Governor.
On behalf of the Government and the good people of Delta State, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, family members, the entire Itsekiri nation and Deltans at this difficult time. May God grant his soul eternal rest.

He was paid 2 billion by the APC to step down, the NDC already knew about the moves. There are still many of them in the NDC and ADC. That was what Zariyi Yusuf wanted to do.
Bauchi NDC governorship candidate Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim has resigned from the party, effective October 16, 2026, pledging continued commitment to state development.

The average Nigerian must present certificates to secure the few jobs that are available in the labour market. Employers demand qualifications, professional bodies demand credentials, and schools demand evidence of academic achievement. But when it comes to the seat of the presidency in Nigeria, characters whose educational backgrounds are unclear are given the green light to contest, while shady laws are enacted to legitimise their positions. Nigerians, when will all this madness stop?

France With Africa’s Resources vs. France Without Africa’s Resources
As French citizens take to the streets of their country in response to worsening economic conditions, we must remember the deeper reasons behind the ongoing drama. France’s economy has been in freefall ever since it was kicked out of its 3 wealthiest former West African colonies. Alliance of Sahel States (AES) members Mali, N*ger and Burkina Faso severed ties with their former colonizer between 2021 and 2023, nationalized resources that France once plundered with impunity, and have since seen rapid economic, social and political progress.
Meanwhile, France is buckling under debt, closing its schools, and putting out fires across its cities set by its own enraged citizens.
For Africans, this is both a stern and amusing lesson on how inextricably linked their continent’s misery is to the hyperinflated living standards enjoyed by the West.

If you’re caught producing counterfeit food or, worse, medicines intended for human consumption, the offence should carry the death penalty.
They now have fake Peak Milk. If you see this, check yours before drinking it.
Personally, I noticed something wrong with the packet I bought, so I threw it away and got a big tin.
Now, a lady called out Peak Milk after buying a carton of sachet milk and finding it fake.
Nigeria is heading to doom. Too bad.

Kevin Costner’s wife asked for $248,000 a month in child support. In court, she said she didn’t know how she’d afford groceries.
They had a prenup. It gave her 30 days to leave his house after she filed for divorce. A judge had to order her out.
They married in 2004 and had three children. In May 2023, after 18 years, she filed. The house was his, bought in 1988, before the marriage.
The prenup paid her $100,000 on the wedding day, $100,000 on the first anniversary, and $1 million after she filed.
He offered about $51,000 a month. A judge set $129,755 for now. She asked for more.
She moved into a $40,000-a-month rental and said it wasn’t enough for the kids.
That summer, she was photographed on vacation in Hawaii with a family friend, Josh Connor.
In September 2023, the judge decided: $63,209 a month.
In the video below, Kevin arrives at court: “We’re talking about somebody I love on the other side.” Then listen for what she says is in the kids’ DNA.
She later married Josh Connor.
The case for Christine: 18 years, three kids, and a husband who made over $1 million a month on Yellowstone.
The case for Kevin: she signed the prenup, and their oldest son drives a 15-year-old truck.
Was $63,209 a month for three kids fair, or did she ask for too much?
