I completely agree.
Itโs been quite a while since I earned my PhD in semiconductor design, but if I were making that decision today, I donโt think I would seriously consider pursuing one. Iโm exaggerating a little, but the time I spent on my PhD now feel like a huge waste of time.
With AI, I can learn so much more, much faster and more easily, through my work in the industry. I donโt think it will be long before the traditional structures our society has built begin to crumble.

Iโm in South Korea now and wondering why I've never heard anyone talk about it as a good place for digital nomads
it's safe, clean, the food is incredible (we had Korean BBQ last night!!!), healthcare is great and there's 24h cafes on nearly every corner
also checked and they have a nomad visa, up to 3 years
feels like everyone is sleeping on it, unless Iโm missing something
