This is tonight European time, but tomorrow if you are in Australia. Either way, I'm looking forward to telling you about the VM that powers our Open Source embedded/IoT runtime, @toitlang.
Join @erikcorry at #YOW21 on Nov 30-Dec 1 for an insider look at the Toit system to see the design choices that minimize memory use & maximize performance for a programming environment that has a 21st Century feel on fingernail-sized devices.

toitlang is a high-level language developed for embedded devices. It has the advantages of fast development speed and high execution efficiency. At the same time, TOIT is a very good IoT cloud platform. You can learn and try from here: toit.io

Another thing about toit is the amazing tooling, to be able to sit on my laptop at work and, using VSCode plugin, deploy/run code on the 5 ESP32 devices I have on my home WiFi network (messing with BLE stuff) is just magical. cc/ @toitware

If you’ve ever wanted to develop against embedded devices (ESP32) I HIGHLY recommend Toit (toit.io). It’s a really amazing language and platform. They also open sourced the impl today: blog.toit.io/the-toit-langua…

If you would like to try embedded programming with Toit by modifying a fully working example including cloud integration and a corresponding smartphone app then this is a great starting point.
We now have a @GitHub repository full of demos showcasing how @FlutterDev applications can communicate with the Toit server.
