‼️ Pls read this op ed. It is the ultimate betrayal of the brave USG victims by members of Congress and the administration. A pattern that has continued for years-it does not seem to matter who is in charge. Both parties r complicit. We were promised the moon by HPSCI chair Crawford, yet nothing has resulted. Again. Kudos to State Dept officer Mark Lenzi for having the courage to call out those on the Hill - members and their staff- who know they must do the right thing, but still are too cowardly to act. @C__Herridge @60Minutes @michaeldweiss @MarkSZaidEsq @SashaIngber thehill.com/opinion/national…

Senior State Dept Official sounds pessimistic that some sort of regime transition deal could be made with Cuba: We think Cuba needs very dramatic change. … It’s a totally different case from Venezuela. It looks very different, and I’ll leave it that.

Good. Might be dawning on some Europeans that most of the populist parties who are wrapping themselves in the flag, are really more stalking horses for Russia.

Claude has begun identifying users from Russia and blocking their accounts, even when they are using a VPN. According to experts, the Anthropic neural network uses hidden mechanisms to determine a user's actual location.
Suspicious connections can lead to account blocking. In the future, similar checks may appear in other AI services, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and others.

Russia has worked out that Europe has cards too.
“It's not enough to talk only to Kyiv; we need to talk to the whole of Europe, which fully supports Kyiv,” Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said an interview with state television on Sunday.

You know Russia is losing. There are signs beyond the numbers. Trump's assistance to Russia and the chattering about nuclear war are two signs. This isn't direct correlation per se, but we've seen this pattern several times.
SPECIAL REPORT: Russian military victory over Ukraine is not inevitable. It is extraordinarily unlikely, in fact, unless Western support for Ukraine collapses.
There is simply no inevitable correlation between the relative size of combatants and the outcome of a war — particularly when the war is existential for the smaller state but not for the larger one, as is true today.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is nevertheless trying once again to breathe life into the myth of inevitable Russian military victory in order to persuade the United States and other supporters of Ukraine to compel Kyiv to surrender.
Ukraine, not Russia, has actually held the initiative in key sectors of the frontline for much of the year and has developed a number of ways of offsetting the overall Russian manpower advantage.
Russia’s population and relative (but diminishing) wealth will let Putin continue his war for a long time, to be sure. But Ukraine can also continue fighting for its existence as long as Western support continues.

Expect more protests and calls to gather spreading across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook across Europe. Also expect a wave of misinformation ahead of the U.S. midterm elections. Verify what you see, check your sources, and fact-check everything twice or even a thousand times before sharing. Don’t let yourself become a tool for someone else’s agenda.
This is part of how hybrid warfare work: exploiting real problems, amplifying disinformation and encouraging people to act violently, sometimes without fully understanding who is mobilising them or why.
From France to Italy, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and beyond, the grievances are real, but someone exploit them to deepen divisions and destabilise societies.
Stay alert.

I agree entirely. I do not believe for a second this story is an accurate reflection of events or historical Russian intentions.
This would seem a great story. But puzzling anyone would take the word of Putin's close Stasi buddy on Putin's claimed willingness to withdraw from regions he just annexed over the view of US government, & give such weight to Putin's nuclear sabre-rattling ft.com/content/dcb57f30-bbfe…
The authors of, The Havana Syndrome, told the story of the US embassy in Vienna getting hit, with what they termed a mass causality event, with 80 AHI/Havana Syndrome cases. This was long overdue and needs to happen everywhere.

This is a psyop used to hide who's really behind this network. They blame the feds to hide russian involvement. Playbook is the same for AHI. Flood the zone with trash and blame the US. Discrediting good people and sowing confusion and plausible deniability.
I've said this before but it's worth repeating. Anyone who genuinely believes that the FBI is some monolithic Dr. Evil organization that is secretly running the 764 network behind the scenes is not a serious person.
There have been dozens of arrests in the past 2 years, and even more internationally. And it's all over the world, not just in the US.
A public figure who repeatedly seeks out mentions of me to accuse me of being a fed in order to discredit me and convince people I'm not worth listening to, when all I do it try to educate parents about online child safety, is worthy of extreme scrutiny.

So it was you ? Just answer the subpoena truthfully and we can figure out the truth.
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones.
As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true.
In February of this year, whitelists were introduced. Stationary terminals could be registered by both military personnel and civilians.
But for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work.
In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible. All drone missions that required satellite communication could only be carried out using Starshield.
We are very grateful to the United States and SpaceX for access to critically important satellite communications. Ukraine did not violate the terms of use.
