Ok. This inspired me to get back on X. No. No. No. Reindustrializing the waterfront with blaring, polluting jets taking off every few minutes from our jewel of waterfront less than 2km from CN tower is not a nice thing. It is ludicrous. No other city would even contemplate it. And for business travelers like Tobi and me, how much fun would it be to fly out of Billy Bishop if you had to wait in long lines bottlenecked by 5x the people?
Doug Ford wants jets on the island. Toronto deserves a vote. @DianneSaxe has a motion to put it on the October ballot — but councillors need to hear from you now.
