.@LifeofFitz asked Collin Klein about Dana Dimel's Clown Car formation, if K-State has it available to use and Klein's experience as the QB:
"I got beat up by my own teammates running quarterback sneak. Braden Wilson hit me harder in the back than I ever got hit in the front."

One interesting note from yesterday:
Every starter on K-State’s offense has at least one more season of eligibility. As a matter of fact, only one player who saw a snap is out of eligibility at the end of the year.
Jacob Knuth, who came in for 1 play as the back up QB.
"I just felt the emotions of the game, and I think it ultimately made me run the ball harder and made us play better collectively as a team."

Question: Did playing against a certain running back make you guys a little extra motivated?
Gabe Powers: He did good. How many yards did he have?
Questioner: 67
Powers: Yeah, that's a little too much.

Avery Johnson said some KU players gave K-State bulletin board material on a podcast before the game.
"We made sure that they were going to eat their words. We came out and played with our shoulder pads and just let them do all the talking. So we were definitely fired up.
"I had some moments where I just felt the emotions of the game, and I think it ultimately made me run the ball harder, and it made us play better collectively as a team."
Anyone born after November 1, 2008, who turns 18 years old this year will become a legal adult before Kansas beats K-State football in their lifetime.
K-State's defense has its first INT of the season, and it's a big one in the end zone.
Logan Bartley protects K-State's 25-24 lead.
The Wildcat defense responds by forcing three straight punts, with the last resulting in a fumble that turns into a safety.
Offense cashes in for 3 FGs.
Need to convert some of those into TDs, but K-State now leads 18-17 at halftime.
K-State has struggled to respond when it gets punched in the face this season.
Trailing KU 17-7 at the end of 1Q, getting tougher when things get tough will be the test if they want to keep the streak alive.
‘Cats are fired up and ready for the Sunflower Showdown!
It’s a beautiful morning for football in Manhattan ☀️
