i have officially realized that twitter is a terrible place to actually try to have discussions with people. if you want to have an actual debate/convo then sure but twitter is a place for dunking on and being dunked upon. you cant express a nuanced point with 280 characters.

The gap in quality between 4th in Serie A and 3rd in the Premier League is astronomical. Really makes you think.

como will win the premier league if we go by premtards logic right

VERY bad day for the “mid table PL clubs would win Serie A” crowd✌🏽😂

Serie A team beating a “big name” prem team would be the end of premtards

hes a cheaper jumbo slot
Was working on a "Brock Bowers isn't even a TE anymore" take because of how much he lines up out wide, and then I looked into it. And while it's true Bowers' 16% in-line percentage is one of the lowest in the league, Isaiah Likely is at 3.6%(!!!) That man is a wide receiver!

retire 😭
If you could give him one piece of advice now, what would it be? #MUFC

carrick was hired on results > process, now hes got neither.
I knew united shouldn't have hired Carrick as permanent manager because if you watched them during their run of good form last season they regressed the longer he was in charge

i mean you got his initials right, wrong team though
The best quarterback in the NFC East is … Jayden Daniels.

If the Giants trade what little draft capital they have left AND they trade it to the expected fire sale Colts AND the return is a RB with massive tread on the tires instead of a win the line of scrimmage now play for Quenton Nelson or Deforest Buckner, they've lost the plot

Jonathan Taylor or Quenton Nelson for the Giants? My heart says Taylor. My head keeps coming back to Nelson. Taylor, Nabers and Likely together would be FILTHY. Taylor already has 655 scrimmage yards and 7 TDs through six games. He would be a menace. But the Giants’ running backs have 472 yards on 138 carries this season. That’s 3.4 a pop. On Sunday? 34 yards on 14 carries. I love shiny things, but sometimes the better move is the foundation. Pass protection has been the stronger part of this line. Creating room for the backs has bee bad, and Nelson would address an actual weakness at left guard while helping whoever gets the ball. He’s allowed 6 pressures on 248 pass-block snaps this year. Runyan: 13 on 256. So you’re improving the protection, too. Here’s where the money gets interesting: Taylor signed a 2-year, $44M extension in August and is controlled through 2028. A trade now would mean roughly $5.3M for the rest of this season, then about $16M in 2027 and $18M in 2028, before extra incentives. The Giants wouldn’t inherit Indy’s already-paid signing bonus. Nelson is 30 and in the final year of his 4-year, $80M deal. Roughly $10.7M in salary remains right now, and he’s a free agent after the season. An extension would have to be part of the conversation. My hypothetical offers: Taylor: a second and a fourth. Nelson: start with a third, with room for more if an extension comes together. I’m not sending a first for either. If Indy opens the door, I’m calling about Nelson first. Taylor is the big playmakermove. Nelson makes both the run game and pass pro better, which is nice. Who would you trade for?

i mean we def need a bagsman, finishing is our biggest problem rn, but another 100m player might be a stretch
🚨 Tottenham are prepared to spend €100M to sign Benfica striker Vangelis Pavlidis next summer. 🇬🇷 The 27-year-old has emerged as Spurs' top attacking priority after scoring 75 goals in 125 appearances for Benfica across all competitions since joining in 2024. (Source: A Bola)
