I find it so disappointing that I can’t be everyone.
I want dedicate my life to art, medicine, cooking, children and travel.
I want to work as a doctor, teacher, pilot, nurse or politician.
There are 24 hours in a day
168 hours a week
40 of these at work
56 sleeping (8 hours)
9-11 eating/cooking
10 driving
2-3 cleaning
15 gym and recovery
But I still have 33 whole hours considering the higher end of the averages.
Unfortunately the convenience and entertainment that accompanies it, is what makes it so glutinous with our time. Quick videos or shows create positive dopamine responses making us more susceptible to continuing the chemical reaction.
I honestly don’t know what this was. A rant? A way of holding myself accountable? A wake up call for me and maybe anyone who reads it?
I am not sure.
In summary, we need to stop wasting our lives.
