HEARTSTEEL has taken over both League of Legends and Riot Games Music social channels
Over the past few days the Riot Games Music social channels came back to life with teases of upcoming content. Rumor has it, we may see more bands return this time around.
I know I'm biased.. but here are a few things I (selfishly) hope to see:

How many cultural moments have brands missed simply because they didn’t have music & culture expertise at the table?
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬?! 𝐈 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐊𝐩𝐨𝐩 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 a few years back while still at Riot. At the time, it was positioned pretty literally as “Kpop stars who are also demon hunters.” On paper, it didn’t sound all that exciting.
Add in the fact that this was a brand-new IP, navigating a pandemic-era release, and it makes sense why it landed on Netflix instead of taking the traditional theatrical path. But now? I believe this is just the beginning.
The potential for Kpop Demon Hunters as a franchise is massive, and if they lean into it, this could become not just a hit film, but a lasting cultural franchise.
Shameless plug: I’ve got a few ideas on how. 😉
Congrats to the teams at @SonyAnimation and @netflix , and @maggiemkang for upholding the vision.
