We’re instituting an audience cap for the first show so we recommend arriving early! In an effort to keep our community healthy, we are continuing to test our staff and artists, as well as requiring proof of vaccination (two vaxx + booster) and masking for our audience.💛

i have basically no following on Twitter, but I am desperate and sad. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look at @PAAFF 's lineup this year and purchase an online rental or tickets to our in-person events. I AM SO FUCKING PROUD OF THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL and we have worked so hard.

Alright I’m closing out the night with 2 final tweets. 1️⃣ First, thank you to everyone in the virtual courtyard who sent all the 2’s in the chat throughout the season. We heard you and felt the love! (Did anyone only yesterday learn why we were putting 2’s in chat? 😅😂)
A screenshot of Zoom chat from the show. Someone asks, “what’s the 2 mean?” Another responds, “2 for Tuesday (2 plus day)!” The original asker responds, “ok smiley face 222”

Moments later in the same Zoom chat. Clipped off is a “2222”. In order, four separate attendees put in the chat, “2 heart 2”. Then, “omg I didn’t realize it was 2 for Tuesday” Then, “2.” Finally, “Me neither embarrassed emoji embarrassed emoji.”

2️⃣ Second, thank you to all our performers, staff, and TN fam who joined us in the courtyard — virtual and physical — this season! (Here’s my own picture of folks last night. I swear there are much better pics taken by actual photographers that will go up on our Instagram.)
A slightly tilted photo of some of our TNC staff and performers in the courtyard of the Union Center for the Arts during our October 18th closer show. Everyone is masked up and smiling and some folks flash peace signs. A couple of folks are blocked out by an audience member in the immediate left foreground whoops. They’re all brightly lit by our stage lights.

If you missed TNC’s 2022 season closer, @TheAALR captured some lovely moments in the courtyard! Here’s some highlights, but make sure to go visit their page to see their full coverage.

And in honor of “the song inside of you” we have one last request for those of you who’ve read this whole thread (thank you by the way!)

I remember the song inside of you, how you moved, how it felt, how he stopped and stayed for a while. You ran away with me, found his family alice, a world we never knew @yosoyAFC @tnproject

During the show, we all sang Ashes and Smoke by Linda Allen guided by Audrey Kuo. In that same spirit, sing a song! Sing it softly or loudly, in the shower or on your bike ride home. We hope it brings a little of the courtyard to wherever you are in the world.
