For those keeping score at home, Attorney General @JeffJacksonNC is now 4 for 4 in blocking illegal and unconstitutional attempts by the Trump-Musk White House that would directly harm North Carolina:
- preserving the U.S. Constitution's protection of citizenship
- defending federal grant funding
- stopping massive cuts to medical research
- blocking unwarranted DOGE access to sensitive personal financial data
This track record is why Republicans in our state legislature are fast-tracking a bill that would block the Attorney General from entering into any legal actions against the U.S. President (just as long as that President is Donald Trump, of course).
