0x28BC...27Ad who rescued ~150k lower value NFTs across ETH, Base, and Polygon has just agreed to participate in the return after a day of back and forth.
They've delegated their wallets and the assets are added to nftsaresafu.xyz (RIP our progress bar).
Donations routed to them.
Note that in this case, they've issued a 7702 delegation to a contract I deployed for them to enable the rescue. They can revoke that delegation at any point, so I can't guarantee these assets are available forever. If they do revoke or change their 7702 delegate address, the site will cease to display those NFTs.
“To reclaim, send them an onchain message and confirm you've revoked the approval”🙇♂️
0xbfA8...A68e rescued ~280 WETH in the PPV2 incident on 9/25, and has agreed to return 90% to affected users, less an optional 5% bounty.
To reclaim, send them an onchain message and confirm you've revoked the approval.
You can now do both at nftsaresafu.xyz
I got 85% of my ETH back 🥳
5.045 ETH came back and 0.89 ETH went to the MEV operator for fee + bounty as they requested it
No words for what I am feeling right now, I thought there is no hope and this is the first time I ever seen a MEV return funds
Super grateful 💙
The hacker OpenSeCCC (0x28BC445B674940c53C227b45D4405C34e60027Ad) just sent @0xQuit on on-chain msg saying they want to return the NFTs👀
“Hello, I hold over 70,000 NFTs and would like to return them to their owners. Please contact me via Telegram”

わて、ずっと前から村上隆 @takashipom さんが大好きだったのです
そして海外へ挑戦する時に最も刺激を受けていた方のひとりでした
なんとこの度、村上さんと会う機会を頂きました❣️
嬉し過ぎました🌸
Agree
i’m pretty bullish on NFTs making a real comeback this cycle
art NFTs can have another run, but i’m more interested in how much experimentation happens around the format itself
agents, ownership, new launch mechanics and different ways to connect NFTs with onchain products all open up fresh design space
we’re still early in the broader onchain rotation, so i expect people to get a lot more creative with NFTs from here
Magic Edenの問題で、村上フラワー関連NFTが盗まれたり困っている方がいましたら、コミュニティ運営のディスコードがありますので是非ご参加ください。
ただのコレクターの集まりではありますが、情報共有ができます。

My NFTs are SAFU🙏🙏🙏
little dry run period: nftsaresafu.xyz/
check what you have claimable. If you see anything that looks incorrect, please let me know.
Will open claims based on the same snapshot after a few more QC runs.
25k NFTs so please be patient.
The bulk of the damage is done, but there are still assets that are vulnerable to the exploit. I'm doing what I can to sweep what's left but hundreds of scammers are also doing the same.
Whether you're affected or not, if you have open approvals to the addresses below, please revoke them. The open approvals can and will be used against you if affected assets are returned to your wallet while they're still open.
REVOKE APPROVALS TO THESE ASAP:
Payment Processor V2 on Ethereum: 0x9A1D00bEd7CD04BCDA516d721A596eb22Aac6834
Payment Processor V3 on ApeChain: 0x9a1D00000000fC540e2000560054812452eB5366
use revoke.cash or similar.

we're aware of a security incident affecting Magic Eden & Limit Break
the team is working to make sure that these items are not able to be re-sold on @opensea
so far over 3,000 items have been marked as stolen & prevented trading
@RevokeCash have an exploit checker live here to see if you've approved your assets for ME here:
revoke.cash/exploits/magic-e…
note: all approvals to OpenSea are safe
At 9AM EST today somebody abused a bug in Payment Processor V2 to steal 10 Meebits, 50 Otherdeeds, 10 WoW, and 235 Desperate Apewives.
It wasn't until over 12 hours later that somebody reported it to me, and upon digging in I realized that a great many NFTs were subject to the same exploit.
I got in touch with the team over at LimitBreak and they quickly paused Payment Processor V3, which was subject to the same exploit. Unfortunately, V2 was not pausable, so the only path towards protecting affected assets was to run a whitehat operation.
Similarly, V3 on ApeChain is temporarily in a state where it cannot be paused, so ApeChain assets approved to V3 needed to be saved as well.
All in all, we rescued 23,155 NFTs worth north of $5.7M USD.
We later discovered that a similar exploit could be used in reverse to steal WETH. 660 WETH was at risk, which we unfortunately were not fast enough to recover. Apologies to those affected.
Shout out to @Boomskite for flagging the initial exploit tx to me, and @coffeedev @0xjustadev and @whiteoakkong for acting quickly and assisting with the recovery.
All NFTs are safely relocated. Soon, owners will be able claim them back after revoking the exploitable approvals.
Addresses to revoke below.
Magic Eden から声明が出てますので、一度でも触ったことのある人、すぐに読んで対応しましょう🚨
We are sharing an interim update regarding an exploit identified with @limitbreak Payment Processor V2, a NFT trading protocol maintained by the company Limit Break and which Magic Eden adopted to settle trades on EVM in 2024.
Magic Eden stopped using Payment Processor V2 in Oct 2024 and ceased our EVM marketplace altogether in Q1 2026. No live Magic Eden listings were impacted in this exploit. We will provide more updates as we investigate the impact further.
We are also contacting Limit Break as they are the owner & maintainer of the protocol to see what other mitigations can be done, including progress on pausing transfers on the protocol. Thank you to @0xQuit for the whitehat rescue and for bringing this to our collective attention: xitter.cf/0xQuit/status/21034106…
Why are ME listings being shown to be involved?
NFTs listed on ME EVM from approx Feb 2024 to Oct 2024 could be impacted by this issue with the Limit Break Payment Processor v2 contract. Any listings on ME EVM after Oct 2024 should not be impacted here. We are still further refining our investigation and will provide more updates here.
In the meantime, if you listed or traded NFTs on Magic Eden’s EVM marketplace before we shut it down, revoke this contract:
Limit Break: Payment Processor (V2)
0x9A1D00bEd7CD04BCDA516d721A596eb22Aac6834
Go through our instructions here: revoke.cash
Ethereum → filter that address → revoke every NFT “approved for all” row
Repeat for the following chainsPolygon
Base
See also 0xQuit’s tweet on revocation for further reference also: xitter.cf/0xQuit/status/21034106…
NOTE: Revoking does not return tokens that already moved.
Again, we will keep the community updated as we investigate further.
