One of the things I wanted to do early in my career was see if an area coach would give me a headset for a game just to do a fun sidebar type story about what goes on over those frequencies throughout a game
For a year, @SandoNFL and I dove into what actually goes on in an NFL headset, and the vast networks that make every play possible - hidden in plain sight. Then, the best visuals team in the world made it tangible. A project unlike any you’ve seen: nytimes.com/athletic/interac…

Normal Sixers lose that game 10/10 times in disastrous fashion. Hell of a win, but Joel cannot take the last shot anymore. He’s the single most critical player who needs to embrace sacrifice and sublimate his ego for this experiment to work. I hope he can come to understand that.

The Eagles played 79 snaps on defense against the Panthers. They have now played 70+ defensive snaps in 5 of 6 games this year. In 2025, they played 70+ defensive snaps in 6 of 17 games. In the 2024 Super Bowl season they played 70+ just 3 times all season.

Howie’s the guy who has the leash to do this but - I wonder if he’ll be the first GM to move off a QB who’s closer to the middle of the pack than a Top 5 guy.
I asked @RapSheet what the biggest offseason story will be. He said the Jalen Hurts situation. He explains on a great This Is Football:

The Eagles lost in a way only the Falcons and Chargers can and that’s pretty impressive

Correct. The 2017 Kennedy race was the closest one we’ve had in a decade-plus. Collier beat out the incumbent in Jeremy Dillon (who played poorly against Fairmont in the semis) and Bagent. The semis that year played a huge role. Hayes and Dillon fell out there.
Replying to @TJack94
Tyson was 3rd in voting that year. He had many talented players on his own team. Plus, the Southern area & Charleston area voters represent the most votes. They mostly get it right; but not always.

It is extremely rare to come across a player like @LaneJohnson65. Extremely rare In the spring of 2013, I found myself on a field in East Texas working out a young Lane Johnson. I believe he was 22 years old All these years later, to say I am proud of the career you built and the man you became would be an understatement. A Hall of Fame career. It’s been a privilege and honor to have coached you. I am so proud of you, Lane

The kid who won the Kennedy Bagent’s senior year put up 100+ yards in a state championship win on a defensive line that had these two guys
Fun reminder: Tyson Bagent never won The Kennedy Award
