Studies show sea temperatures in the tropical indian ocean are rising by up to +1dC... Yet you build massive sea facing houses run centralised AC further heat the already warming coast & ocean sleep in comfort… & then cry crocodile tears over climate change & el nino.
Worse still the same crowd that constantly attacks the DMK never questions how you built such huge houses right next to the sea.
I have never witnessed weather conditions like these before. What we are experiencing is a stark reminder that climate change is real, and its effects can no longer be ignored.
With climate change and climate phenomena such as El Niño influencing weather patterns, we must remain alert, take scientific warnings seriously, and strengthen our preparedness for extreme weather events.
When I filmed this video last night, I felt nature is sending us a warning. We must listen, act responsibly, and protect our people and our planet.

I have parked 40k in a corporate bond for 6 months offering an 11.8% yield... its secured but still carries some risk. The expected interest income is around 2400.
The idea is to use that interest to cover the cost of either an annual hotstar or prime subscription... In fact scaling this investment up to 1L to cover the costs of both subscriptions would be a good move. (I know very well that fd carry lower credit risk... but i still prefer bonds).
The stormwater drainage infrastructure developed in chennai is the finest such system i have ever seen in india... Monsoon patterns may change in the years to come but i sincerely hope these systems will continue to protect chennai even then.
More than the flyovers built during your tenure as mayor or any other infrastructure projects undertaken in chennai... it is this stormwater drainage system for which you will always be remembered in history.
Finest, finest, finest work sir!
