I don’t say it often, but everyone should watch this video in its entirety.
The use of 'brave' as an adjective has become almost disposable these days, overused to the point of meaninglessness.
However, this video—filmed within 48 hours of learning that one of her greatest nightmares had become a reality—demonstrates remarkable bravery by Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of Alexei Navalny.
The power and clarity of her message and the decision to put herself directly in the crosshairs of Vladimir Putin and his security services is an example of extraordinary sacrifice.

Russian "writer" Aleksey Sukonkin describes his vision for the future of Ukraine: he predicts the repeat of the 1950s anti-Soviet underground movement, and suggests that Russia has rich experience in eliminating resistance. Just read it, it's even crazier than it sounds. He believes it will take Russia 20 years to establish order (kill everyone who doesn't want the Russian world on their land).
Thought I would only read such things in history books. As insane as his words sound, I encourage people to believe this is exactly what is going to happen if we do not stop the Moskva regime and the Kremlin Ripper from achieving their goals.

Useful thread
The problem, @stephenWalt, is not that people condemn you; it’s that you *do not listen* to them and just continue repeating the same lines.
You’ve already made your “moral case for pursuing peace.” What you haven’t made is your moral case for occupation.
Time to do it. 🧵

If you want to speak with authority about Ukraine, you should do research in Ukraine, travel back and forth from Ukraine, and learn Ukrainian. I can't believe I even have to say this. I'm saying it. It takes years of training, reading, writing, some guts, new contacts, and work.

Day 500 of the Russian war in Ukraine.
I am president of the Kyiv School of Economics, a former minister of economy of Ukraine, and a professor of economics at the University of Pittsburgh. I left the US for Kyiv 4 days before the war.
These are the lessons I learned. 1/
