Ron DeSantis ignored the affordability crisis in his own state for 8 yrs while he used OUR money to prop up
his national profile , insane ego and reward donors … this as we became the #1 state in foreclosures and people fled the state bc it became unsustainable
Governor DeSantis SLAMS Trump for calling him an authoritarian during the Covid lockdowns.
SLAMS Trump for driving inflation by borrowing and spending $6 trillion.
Says Republicans are “too aligned with a handful of entrenched interests” like Big Tech.
“So the idea that big tech and the Republicans are just in bed together, I think is a HUGE mistake from a policy perspective. I think it's a huge mistake from a political perspective.
I also think, what do we stand for in terms of the economy? I watch these politicians scurry around the country, running for Congress, running for U.S. Senate, running for state office, and they're talking about affordability. They don't have any solutions.
Why do we have inflation? A very easy answer, the root cause of it, was at the beginning of this decade, the government borrowed and spent $6 trillion over a 13-month period that we did not have, printed it out of whole cloth, of course you're going to have inflation. Now, has the war and the disruption of energy markets created the uplift in prices since then? Of course that has. But the overall reason we still had 3.7% inflation, which is also high historically to where you want to be, is because of federal borrowing and spending.
I'm not seeing anybody say that we should do anything to even moderate it a little bit. It just keeps growing and growing, and the debt keeps growing and growing.“

The worst part of this is that they probably, all of them, end up voting for Schumer in their secret ballot and people’s hopes are raised - and then they end up getting mad at Senate Dems from the get go.
Anyways, the rest of us should still make the case against Schumer.

Dear @SenSchumer,
You have been in political office for 51 years and 10 months.
That is FIVE DECADES of backroom power brokering.
When is enough power enough for you?
You're 75 years old.
You've taken ENOUGH.
Let new leadership run the Democratic party now.

I rarely laugh at any clip of Trump. This one made me laugh. Because first, I can’t believe this is 60 Minutes. And second, Trump has never sounded more weak and pathetic.

If Democrats deliver on this historic opportunity they will own the 2028 Presidential election and beyond.
If they don't they don't, if they make the same mistakes they have for years, there will be another 10 year Republican run.
We must deliver.

Re @ChuckSchumer, I think there is some sentiment in the Senate of "let him enjoy this win and go out on top."
Meaning that he is likely to retire in 2028 (he soon turns 76), rather than go to war for his seat against a young, popular, formidable challenger like AOC. 1/

Jared Kushner is set to go to Abu Dhabi next week to negotiate for the Trump administration.
Unless and until he gets confirmed by the Senate, that's illegal under the Appointments Clause of the Constitution. We sued to enforce the law. axios.com/2026/11/03/us-russ…

Chuck Schumer has been in political office for 51 years and 10 months.
And at 75 years old he needs MORE?
After 51 years, he needs to lead the Senate AGAIN?
And you're going to give it to him?
That's your genius fucking plan??????????????????????
