(1/5) Excited to share our new paper, “Improved 3D Markerless Mouse Pose Estimation Using Temporal Semi-supervision”, recently published in International Journal of Computer Vision.
Paper: doi.org/10.1007/s11263-023-0…
Dataset: doi.org/10.7924/r4hq43h4c
(4/5) In addition to our model, we also tested a range of contemporary 3D algorithms. Some simple modifications to these other algorithms also improved performance when labeled data were scarce. So I encourage you to check it out, even if you are not using a volumetric 3D model.

Are you as excited as we are to develop new tools for 3D behavior tracking and analysis, or to use these tools to study the brain?
My lab @Duke is looking for postdocs and research/data technicians to join the team! Please reach out if interested.
