You want setup for Avengers: Doomsday? Ok:
The concept on incursions, and that a single person can cause them, was setup in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. But you didnāt watch that.
The rules of the Multiverse and variants was setup in Loki. But you didnāt watch that.
The concept of a person being in a universe where they donāt belong (which can cause an incursion and is very, very important to the plot of Doomsday) was setup in The Marvels. But you didnāt watch that.
The X-Men being heroes defending their universe and seeing those from a different universe as a threat was setup in Captain America: Brave New World. But you didnāt watch that.
Latveria and Doom being from Earth 828 was setup in Fantastic Four: First Steps. But you didnāt watch that.
The Multiverse crisis becoming so bad that Earth 616 is aware of it as something happening in outer space was setup in Thunderbolts*. But you didnāt watch that.

I held back on speaking about this until Icould take it all in.
Let's have a little conversation about Asian Americans. Recently, a Asian Amercan store owner (Rick Chow) was was acquitted in the killing of a 14 year old Black American boy (Cyrus Carmack-Belton).
Chow accused the kid of stealing. It was proven that he was not stealing. The kid fled the store. Chow and his son pursued the kid. They chased him 130 yards. That's slightly over the length of a football field (including the end zones).
At this point Chow shot Cyrus in the back (a hand gun was recovered at the scene). Over a bottle of water.
Black Americans are upset with the verdict and have called for a nationwide boycott of all Asian businesses.
Let's start from a very distant past. Since the beginning of time here in America, Asians have had great disdain for Black Americans.
When Asians come to America they are told to not associate with blacks, no matter what you do. They are told to try to lose their accents and be more like whites. While in school, Asian parents tell their children not to become friends with black children, never date one and never bring one home.
The ironic thing is that whites didn't like or want Asians around them. So, when Asians came from other countries to America, their Amercan Dream starts right in the black neighborhoods, with the people that they have so much hate for.
They've lived their American Dreams off the power of the black dollar. All of their businesses started in black neighborhoods, from laundry and dry cleaning to liquor stores, Chinese food, nail salons and black hair care supply stores.
But, Blacks have never been anything besides welcoming to the Asian population. They lived in black neighborhoods. Because whites didn't allow them in their's. They weren't allowed to open businesses in white neighborhoods either.
Whites felt about Asians the way Asians felt about blacks. Yet, their goal was the proximity to whiteness. Even though whites wanted nothing to do with them.
So, today, black people got the short end of the American justice system again when Chow was acquitted for chasing down and killing a young black boy. So, blacks decided to boycott Asian businesses all across America.
Well, Asians crawled out of the woodwork to show their disdain, arrogance and hatred towards blacks for the announced boycott.
Telling us how we've been in America all these years and have achieved nothing, how we have been surpassed by immigrants. We were told that we are raising our kids to be theives and nonachievers. They went as far as to tell us how much they don't need our money. One Asian used the term "Niggerism" to describe black people.
This boycott isn't because of this one incident of an Asian store own accusing a black person of stealing and shooting him in the back.
This boycott was years in the making. Years of them constantly side eyeing us as theives, low class and looking down on us. All the while taking our black dollars.
I say all of this, because sometimes the truth is just the truth and the truth needs to be told. History needs to be told how it actually was. There's no reason to hide from it.

Black people in America need to be registered to vote, all of us. Full Fkān Stop.
In states like Georgia, Maryland, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, turning to vote can shift outcomes in House, Senate, and gubernatorial races.
Look at Georgia. About 3.5 million Black residents live here. Roughly 2.5 million of us are eligible to vote, yet only around 1.4 million of us actually do. That leaves between 900,000 and 1.1 million eligible Black voters not participating.
Now compare that to the margins of the last two Ga: governorās races. In 2018, the race was decided by about 54,000 votes. In 2022, about 191,000 votes. The number of eligible Black voters not participating is between 7 and 10x larger than those margins.
This isnāt about theory, itās about MATH. If we show up consistently, outcomes change. The shift starts with registration, and it is sustained by turnout.
Register and VOTE.
