Which one is a better fit for you or for your class?

Side by side comparison of the Area Depravation Index by the folks at UW and the Neighborhood Deprivation Index I created using the sfdep package. My code here: rpubs.com/codargarza/952910

🎉🎉 The 2021 1-year American Community Survey microdata are out today! 🎉🎉
Use them *right now* in #rstats tidycensus with the `get_pums()` function and the arguments `survey = "acs1"` and `year = 2021`
I'll have full 2021 PUMS support (e.g. variable recoding) up on CRAN soon

The legacy of redlining is seen today in #eviction patterns. Our website allows you to overlay 1930's redline zones with eviction rates. In #Indianapolis, many tracts w/ the highest rates of eviction today were rated as "D - Hazardous" or "C - Definitely Declining" in the '30s.

In #Delaware, #Indiana & #Minnesota, we found 3 things: #eviction filing rates dropped with the CARESAct and local/state/federal moratoria; Black and “Other” renters face the highest eviction rates; eviction rates are now returning to and rising above their pre-pandemic levels.
