Nine years ago today, on 16 June 2016, Jo Cox was murdered while on her way to a surgery in her constituency of Batley and Spen. Jo’s murder was an immeasurable tragedy for her family and friends, but also for British democracy. (1/7)

Dear Wimbledon- a thread I know things haven’t been great between us recently. There were even cross words after Gillingham. But none of that matters now. Forget last week against Port Vale. Forget that trip to St James’ Park. Forget beating ‘them’ home and away. 1/4 #afcw

We have an attacking midfielder with an eye for goal. We have our best finisher in years. We have a number 9 who’d walk through walls for us. And we have a fit again January signing who got promoted just last year. 3/4 #afcw

We’ve filled Plough Lane more than ever this year. We sold our tickets for tomorrow weeks ago. A point is all we need. We’ll be with you to get you over the line. PS We’re facing the man who Johnnie apparently pipped for the job. Let’s show we made the right call. 4/4 #afcw

A thread on what's happened at @afcwimbledon, drawing on a few years experience working on flooding. #AFCW Despite reports, I don't think the flooding was from the River Wandle.... 🧵
