Join us for an exclusive panel and networking reception with journalists at the forefront of the evolving media environment, including Lewis Denison (ITV Social Media Reporter), Jim Waterson (London Centric Substack Editor), and Maddie Drury (Freelance podcast producer with BBC credits), as they discuss how to meet audiences where they are and secure media coverage that matters. 📅 Thursday 3 September | 6:00-8:30pm Register here 👉 luma.com/77iyl5xm

Speaking to PR Week, PLMR’s CEO and Founder explores the opportunity for public affairs as we face a change at the top of Government, including the elevated role of Labour Party conference this year. Kevin said: “Change at the top of government will inevitably usher in a period of uncertainty as the new Prime Minister assembles their team and establishes priorities. But new advisers and networks of influence – within parliament and elsewhere – present opportunities for organisations to help shape a new political direction and start to build relationships with decision-makers whose priorities are still taking shape. Over the coming weeks, clarity on the timeline for transition and personnel involved will help businesses plan their engagement. In the shorter term, some current ministers may look for quick wins to define their legacy. But in most cases, organisations should prioritise planning for the new administration and reflecting on the opportunities and risk that it presents. The Labour Party conference will serve as an important launchpad for the new leader to showcase their priorities and reinject momentum into the party.” Read more here 👉prweek.co.uk/article/1962545…
