Housing costs are out of control, and outdated federal rules are making it worse.
I spoke on the House floor today in support of the Affordable HOMES Act to cut red tape and make homeownership more affordable for hard-working families. #ncpol
Proud to recognize for state house Speaker Carl Stewart of Gaston County. #ncpol
I was proud to honor the life and legacy of Carl J. Stewart Jr. on the House floor today.
A son of Gaston County, Carl became a respected attorney and the first Speaker of the North Carolina House elected to two consecutive terms. He spent decades serving our state — North Carolina is stronger because of his hard work and dedication.
Proud to see three of my bills included in the @RepublicanStudy budget — our conservative roadmap to restore America's golden age.
These bills reflect our core priorities: securing the border, standing with law enforcement, and putting taxpayers first.

I'm devastated to hear of the passing of my friend, Congressman Doug LaMalfa.
He was a dedicated public servant and fierce advocate for America's farmers and rural communities. Please join me in praying for his wife, Jill, and his family as they mourn this tremendous loss.

It’s been a busy and productive 2025, fighting for NC-14 in Congress and delivering real results, like helping return $7.5 million to constituents and resolving over 600 federal casework issues.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve, and ready to keep working in 2026.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
Please take a moment today to think of our troops, first responders, and others who are serving our country and communities, rather than celebrating with their families.

I recently toured Metrolina Greenhouses in Huntersville, a family-owned business founded in 1972 and still led by six siblings today.
They grow and ship more than 70 million plants a year, including over 3 million poinsettias this holiday season, supplying 1,400 stores across 19 states. Love the Christmas spirit!
Mr. President: Thank you for the endorsement for my re-election to Congress. #ncpol

Investigating for what?? Students across the country are mourning. Ardrey Kell High had no issue with tributes before... now Charlie Kirk’s name is a problem?
Disgusting double standard.
Principal at Ardrey Kell High School, NC says the spirit rock is “under investigation” after it was painted with a tribute to Charlie Kirk.
In 2020 it was painted for George Floyd and was celebrated.
Cannot make this up
.@ArdreyKellHS you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Today, we lost a great man, a loving father, and a fighter for America. He believed in this country and few have worked harder to preserve its values.
May God hold him close and bring comfort to his family.
