By my calculations, John hasn't had a garbage plate since 2010. Time for a refill?

For the last 17 years I have been lucky enough to be playing the game that I fell in love with at a young age. Today I am retiring from playing hockey and I would like to thank everyone that helped me along the way including my coaches, teammates, fans, and especially my family!

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mike Nykoluk. Mike captained the 55 Memorial Cup winning Marlies before going on to play 32 games for the Maple Leafs. He later served as the Maple Leafs head coach for 4 seasons, from 1981-84. Our thoughts are with his family.

I quit @PennLive today. They couldn't get to a place by July of 2020 to call out Nazis as Nazis. So I’m done. Holler if you want some words.

Haven't heard much about who will take over for Dave Andrews as AHL president, but Darren Dreger says it's down to 2-3 candidates & that Jay Feaster is in the mix. He was AHL exec of year in 1997 after Hershey won Calder Cup

An icon & major-league talent. A master who made a difficult craft look easy. Blessed to have so often been in the same orbit. Too young, dammit. Peace to Caroline & Kyle.
