We’re working hard on our Mac client. We made the decision that’s it’s best to ship a MVP (menu bar app!) sooner than a full client later (it will come in 2024). It initially won’t do as much as the mobile app but what it does, it will do really well w/ our signature execution 💯

Calendars are your personal planner, and so they should reflect your personality. We’ve recently added the ability to make your taste pop: just pick the color theme, transforming your chosen accent color to be the app’s.

For when you want to start an ad-hoc timer, simply long-press the [+], start a timer, decide how long for and then... focus! #productivity

At some point, we’ll make it seamless to keep track of all your focus sessions. The end goal = no more app-switching required for when you want to time your focus, to get _through_ your lists.

Whatever goes into timing is always carefully considered with a clear vision. For example, we added task estimates several months ago. Initially it was just another piece of information. The added effort to estimate was arguably not justified. We knew this, so we went to work.

Firstly, if a task is estimated and you had set an alert to be reminded of it at a particular time, we made a change so that the task will continue to show as being [Live] on your Agenda for the estimated duration. A small thing, but it does help make s’thing less likely to slip.

And today, with the introduction of our new Focus module, we move to the next phase in timing’s development. One that aims to empower you with the tools to legitimately supercharge your productivity⚡️ We got some really exciting plans for it, and elsewhere, to help achieve this.

We don’t want timing to just _show_ your tasks. We want it to actively help you get _through_ your lists. This is why we’ve added support for timers ⏳ Estimate any task, and hit the [Play] button to time your focus. That easy! Try it at timing.is/live :)

Also: if anything is [Live], whether a task or event, you can tap on it, to see how much time is remaining.

You may have not heard from us since mid-August, but we’ve been really busy the last 6 weeks. The major sum of the work was our iOS 17 update that we shipped in September. There were _a lot_ of changes in this one. ICYMI: midnight-beanie-ccb.notion.s…

There were a lot of highlights in this and subsequent refinements in the updates that followed, each deserving of their own thread. A new iOS release has us pumped for the next 12 months. Thank you once again for being so early on our journey 🩶
