curious how much magic people want for .NET/Java/Scala/Ruby/etc on Vercel
buildpack-style auto-detect? Dockerfiles you can C+P and edit? or no magic, just a generic Dockerfile option like today?
is there a better way?
my favorite engineering detail about Dockerfile on Vercel is that boots are streaming, so startup time does not increase with container size. it only matters how many bytes your app reads before it listens on PORT

Can any CSS experts help me understand if this is the intended behavior or a bug in Chrome?

It doesn't reproduce in Firefox... and sometimes reproduces in Safari.
Found it! This has been a bug reported to Chrome since late 2012:
lab.laukstein.com/bug/input
There's various workarounds, but none of them are particularly great.
Inlining the styles appears to prevent the transition on load in Chrome, which leads me to believe this is a bug.
