The actual explanation is either too long and too hard tunderstand. Its so much easier to throw the generic "horizon lost 90% of its playerbase,look at this chart!!!!" As if that's a causation of the game being bad or not. Nobody ever uses their brain these days. Just consume
27,000 players on one single platform still being a more than desirable number that most racing games not named Gran Turismo would aim for at their peak never mind on a random sample 3 months later.

Gran Temurismo (aka: Assoluto Racing) is out on Switch today.
It sort of plays like a forgotten early PSP version of Gran Turismo Polyphony put out on release of the console.

I'm a simracer and i love competition, my main game is iRacing, and i couldn't agree more. It's amazing how many people see something different and say “this is shit, I wanted something else,” when that “something else” is already in a ton of games.
Maybe Clutch will end up being a terrible game, I don't know, but at least I appreciate that they're trying to do an unapologetic arcade racer different from Forza Horizon.
